  1. So then why don't you understand that you can't extrapolate sample size validity in a linear fashion based on population ratio? Do you know the Law of Large Numbers and how your argument is completely fallacious due to it?
  2. Man, I try to block that out of my memory. Even after not recovering the onside kick, ALL WE HAD TO DO WAS GUARD THE SIDELINES! THEY HAD NO TIMEOUTS! THEIR ONLY CHANCE WAS TWO QUICK OUTS TO THE SIDELINES AND WE GIFT WRAPPED IT FOR THEM!
  3. You don't have a very good grasp on statistics do you? If I live in a town of 3,000 people and I poll 1 person, by your logic I'm using a valid sample size because that's the proportional equivalent of 100,000 if my town was the United States.
  4. But that's all part of the experience...embrace it!
  5. The Doors and Queen too IMO
  6. Derek Jeter is also NOT overrated It is so in vogue to say that the guy is overrated but anybody who watches the Yankees every day knows how ridiculous that is
  7. He's a veteran of WVBR, the Cornell radio station I currently work for. I met him at a couple of alumni events and he was the nicest guy. I just got word of his passing through an email and it shocked me. RIP Gary
  8. Don't get me wrong, it's great that you've befriended a little person. I just don't think it's necessary that you accompany the little guy to the bathroom.
  9. Yeah, I'm thinking about some fish for dinner.
  10. How about Mike Weir? I don't care how much easier the course is today, 4 under at Bethpage after 7 is damn impressive. Let's see how he finishes out the round. After he The Masters, I figured Weir would be a staple in the top 10 for years to come, but this is really the first we've heard from him since.
  11. Though peanut butter and celery is quite tasty. I applaud you on actually stomaching all the other stuff.
  12. A nice big meaty pepperoni calzone with marinara dipping sauce and couple of Labatts. Yeah, I win.
  13. Best tournament in golf in my opinion. I've got my money on Francis Ouimet. Harry Vardon and Ted Ray look tough, but I like the young American's spunk.
  14. No living person in the United States was a slave or a slave owner. Who exactly is apologizing to whom here? I certainly don't owe anybody an apology. Maybe next Spain will apologize to the Bahamas for all that nasty Christopher Columbus business.
  15. Yeah....uh...that guy. But seriously, I assume you mean John Turturro. Very very good actor.
  16. The most upsetting part is how close we were back then (and just a couple years ago), compared to how far away we are right now. Unlike the Bills, our Sabres have not been a particularly bad franchise over the past decade...but they have pissed away their opportunities like champs (or had them stolen by f*cking refs). No matter the circumstances, we had 3 legit chances at winning Stanley Cups and couldn't convert any of them.
  17. There's nothing wrong with this...are you suggesting football players should never rest and relax? Besides, he emphasizes staying in football shape and memorizing playbooks.
  18. My sincerest apologies for this, but I felt it had to be posted...
  19. My top 3 are, Keith Moon Roger Taylor Jon Bonham
  20. I just jizzed in my pants.
  21. No way, I love the weather. I'll take snowy over sunny any day. All a matter of perception.
  22. There's a difference between jail and prison...you're making it sound like he was in prison. He was probably in a holding cell for a day or something.
  23. True, then again many experts aren't experts. The guy isn't saying anything ridiculous, even if he's being a little too optimistic about some of the guys. One guy I'll certainly be keeping my eyes on is McCargo. Sure, he was a gigantic reach for the first round and he's been a bust to boot, but he still has the physical talent to be a starter. Kyle Williams has been decent, but I wouldn't say he has the starting role on lockdown. If McCargo finally commits himself to his job, who knows?
