  1. Buddy, this crosses a line. Everybody knows All My Children was the best.
  2. Jesse did actually cry quite a bit. Now, Aaron Paul is a superior actor to...well, basically everybody on the show. Maybe tied with Cranston. You guys should enjoy/discuss the show how you wish. Didn't mean to say otherwise. Just seems as if the Skyler stuff dominates the conversation. This, I can be on board with. The plot has moved to a point where the "Walter at home" business seems languid. You see, I'm just a natural defender of actors/actresses and I think Anna Gunn and Betsy Brandt have taken great strides over the last 5 years in actualizing their characters.
  3. What does the hen possess and why should I chatter with it? Remember how emotionally devastated Jesse was through seasons 3 and 4? Was that also content more appropriate for Oprah? All I'm saying is that this isn't an action show, it's a human drama with a focus on criminal activity. The assertion that women viewers just can't enjoy it without women crying to one another is way off base.
  4. Just me or is this thread getting a tad ridiculous? The meth business is clearly Plot #1, but the deterioration of Walt's family has always been a part of the show. Why are we suddenly acting like Skyler's presence ruins the entire thing? Oh and Marie is still great.
  5. Which I never understood...orange and teal?
  6. Probably a 2nd round pick for what amounts to a one-year rental. Unless the Bills are pragmatically confident in a long playoff run, I don't know if you could justify it.
  7. I tend to think the watch is just a token of submission (albeit temporarily).
  8. NO FORUM FOR YOU
  9. This is my #1 question heading into the season. Hagan seems to be outperforming his journeyman status, but you don't achieve that status for no reason. Jones is the incumbent but certainly didn't play like a starter when healthy last season. Graham has upside, but I've seen enough speedsters prove one-dimensional at the NFL level. Nelson's been effective...in the slot. EDIT: And Easley got eaten by a leopard in the end zone during practice.
  10. It'll probably be episode 7, "Plinko".
  11. As I understand it, the main board is designated as an NFL forum at large.
  12. How 'bout that touchback?
  13. Against a real team. I guess the question lies in how much merit belongs to pure athleticism and how much to specialized skills.
  14. Funny thing is, if the 32 NFL teams were run in a vacuum this sort of deal might actually happen. But with the owners' and the fans' expectations involved, whichever team came out worse in 2 years' time would be fired.
  15. There's always more scrutiny for the deal you DO make than the one you don't. The combination of Mario, Dareus and Fred/Stevie might very well have better real value than Luck, but the importance of QBs is so highly regarded that their front office would never live it down absent of a Superbowl.
  16. The pro: Potentially put yourself in playoff contention for the next decade. The con: Set your defense back to square one. It'd be worth it.
  17. Here's Aaron Paul's tragicomic appearance on The Price is Right.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nB4Lz0Wb0MI
  18. In that case I'll pit my 53 Maurice Jones Drews against your 53 Darren Sproles.
  19. I like the thought from a football standpoint, but that would not be a safe city for women.
  20. None of us are in the locker room, but I believe that Levitre led by example on the field. Except when he had to play center and had difficulty snapping, Levitre was one guy who excelled during both feast and famine. That said, I agree that his extension doesn't need to come now. In fact I'd be surprised if Buddy hasn't already pulled Levitre and Byrd aside to say "We want you to be Bills for a long time. Just hold tight and you'll be taken care of."
  21. Gotta play defense too. How about Antonio Gates? Assuming you operate your team w/o much of a passing attack, only CB and DT would be liabilities.
  22. Certain of these soccer moms seem to trump everybody else in douchiness. Something about her tone of voice tells me that she's not stupid to the point where she thinks this was a legitimate emergency...she's simply arrogant enough to think the entire world should care.
  23. You get to make an NFL team out of 53 clones of the same NFL player (past or current). Who do you pick? EDIT: Also, if you have X's and O's knowledge of the game, explain the strategy by which your team would try to win.
