That has been the most frustrating part of the Chief playoff losses in 2021 and 2023, especially when you factor in the injuries we had to where maybe it wouldn't have come down to being that close. Does Hill get that long TD end of 4th if Tre White doesn't tear his ACL on thanksgiving? Maybe, maybe not. Does KC still win last year if even one of Milano or Bernard play, let alone both. I mean they attacked our LB's all game long who were led by a guy who was on his couch a few weeks earlier and journeyman level LB at his best anyway. Still, missing some of our best players on defense, we were a play or two away from unseating them. So you get the double frustration of the loss itself and having to take those with some critical players out every time.

Just made this bet Short week, hot and humid game...the DL suffers the most. Add in Allen's hurt left hand, and I think we will see Brady look to establish the run this game against Miamis front 7 which is a mess. And I think Davis will get more touches to keep the backs fresh. And once they get down near the redzone, I would bet they give Davis some of those short yardage carries instead of Allen this week due to his hand which may make it harder for Allen to hold on to the ball and also risk further injuring it. And Allen regrets not getting Keon his first Tuddy last week when it was there, so I think this week we will see Allen run less in the redzone and let the ball fly more on drop backs and we see both our rookies get their first TD's this week. He does seem to have a nose for the endzone going on right now with 3 straight games with a TD going back to the playoffs. And he could have 2 in that KC game had Dawkins held his block a half second longer.

Its a bit early to be reading their obituary. Rodgers hasn't played football since 2022. Expecting him and the Jets to come out firing against probably the best team and best defense in football was a bit unrealistic. Don't get me wrong, I lovvvvvvved watching them crap the bed against the Niners, especially since my wife is a die hard Niners fan and we both can't stand Rodgers. But heading into that game, I both expected the Niners to win, and win convincingly as I was fully expecting to see a lot of rust from an offense whose old QB had not played a game since 2022. So for me, Week 1 IMHO was not necessarily a clear indicator of how good or bad they will be all season long. I am more interested to see how this team is playing in a few weeks before I think we know if they can contend or not for a playoff birth.
