  1. Except MLB actually has the flexibility to show whatever teams / games they think will be interesting to fans (even if it's not what you want to see.) The NFL has no leeway until late in the season.
  2. This is obviously Peyton Manning's fault.
  3. Ok, so I couldn't wait any longer and got some sub-standard chicken parm from a place around the corner. Jimmy, we're enemies now. I never want to hear your name, or see your ugly flat face again.
  4. I think you need to have a conversation with Crayonz about tiebreakers.
  5. Where's my braciole, punk?
  6. What's up Spags? Hey, where in Hudson County can I get the best Braciole?
  7. Do you suppose it would work... without the fork in the eye?
  8. I'm so tired of hearing that he has less mileage. One year he actually played two seasons in the same year (one in NFL Europe and one in NFL.) I love Fred, and he's proven himself as a great back. I hope he has 5 more good years. But to expect anything more than 2 years from him is going against common sense.
  9. I'd report the guy, that should be grounds for firing.
  10. My point is, I've never heard anyone complain about a handshake being too hard. I'm sure Harbaugh and Schwartz haven't either. The issue wasn't that it was too hard, it was that it was too enthusiastic. Seemed like Harbaugh might has well have called him a kitty in the post game conference. Again, maybe I'm reading too much into it.
  11. In Harbaugh's post-game interview it almost seemed like an insult when he took the blame by saying he shook hands too hard. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it.
  12. I did not know that. That's awesome. http://www.nydailynews.com/archives/sports/1997/10/28/1997-10-28_colt_dolt___punch_to_kelly_k.html
  13. What's your deal? I liked it when Carroll was on the losing end. Schwartz should have handled it better. But it never would have happened if Harbaugh showed just a little class.
  14. From here on he shall be known as "Harbrah"
  15. I think Fitz has proved to be better than most at adjusting to new wrs, but I don't think anything is going to happen.
  16. It's probably also tougher this week since the Giants will now have some game tape on Hairston.
  17. Well, that's where he was playing. I'd just be surprised if Vick has ever seen video of Marv talking to the team, or knew about Marv's use of it. I'd be much less surprised if Vick spends some time watching the NFL network and has seen the commercials of other coaches paraphrasing it.
  18. that phrase (and paraphrased versions of it) has been all over NFL network commercials for the past 3 months, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if he didn't know about its association with levy and the bills.
  19. I still am waiting for jumbalaya to eat some crow for his "likely to go 0-16" thread of the year.
  20. Thanks Crayonz, you have no idea how much I needed this. Keep doing what you do.

  22. Looked pretty good in his first start at left tackle, no?
  23. I'll take the method of winning where we score more points than the team we're playing.
