I know a lot of people hate that paper, but in its defense, in journalism circles, it is very well respected. Also, I recently read a story that said it was on solid financial footing. It has one of the best ownership entities in the world, and although the industry itself might be nearly extinct, the News isn't going anywhere any time soon.

1.) Newspapers, even the small ones, typically have copy editors and designers who take the text of the column/story and write the headlines. Sometimes, writers will give suggested headlines, but those are rarely used because of space constraints or because the copy editors are the professional headline writers, not the writers. 2.) See prior response. Using your logic, it would be incorrect to say "the headline isn't incorrect."

The writers don't write the headlines. Also, the headline is fine.

I sure hope so. Then again, they return something like 16 starters from a team that won the Rose Bowl. They'll be in a BCS game again, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Pryor get Heisman consideration.

How is Ohio State overrated? They get a ton back on offense and with the exception of Miami, their schedule isn't overly tough. I'm with you on Wisconsin though, their offensive line, as usual, will be beastly. I have Ohio State in the BCS championship, where they'll more-than-likely get stomped by an SEC team.

Might be too early to tell. What has it been, one year? The Broncos won one more game than the Bears last season and spent a first-round pick on a quarterback. At what point do the Bears win the trade? A playoff appearance? A Super Bowl win? Five Super Bowl wins? They upgraded at quarterback, and they feel they got a franchise player. That's the name of the game.
