From 1988 to 1993 -- which I consider the "heyday" -- the Jets were something like 1-11 against the Bills in the regular season. But hey, what do I know.
I'm offering no opinion on the reporter story, just saying that it's a good, strong word. One of those all-encompassing words. Of course, it's not the strongest word in the English lexicon -- that would be "cube."
Just a couple things:
1.) It might be important to note there's a difference between "opinion" and general news content.
2.) Also, J-Dub, I don't think there's a more beautiful word in the English language than "skank."
Oh man. They were both so bad. I'll take pre-Adrian Wilson Edwards over Losman. But Losman over post-Adrian Wilson Edwards. Losman held on to the ball too long and danced like Michael Jackson in the pocket. But he was often able to make something out of nothing. Edwards couldn't and wouldn't wing it like JP.
Yeah, tie.
Quarterbacks who throw the ball downfield throw interceptions. I know, some of us may have forgotten that fact since we haven't seen the ball go downfield that often. But it happens.
This season it is imperative that the team knows exactly what they have in Maybin -- whether it's a complete bust or future star. He needs to play -- this is a lost season anyhow. They need to know what kind of player he is and either cut bait or continue his development.
