  1. Oh God. I'd delete 90 percent of the threads on this thing.
  2. I agree with about 99 percent of what he says. And judging by this thread, that means 99 percent of you people would hate me.
  3. It really is sad that when I think of Kitna I think of "That Jesus guy" instead of "That NFL quarterback."
  4. But is the fear of God in Fitzpatrick?
  5. Haha, well, Reich did get plenty of PT -- especially in the first Dallas debacle.
  6. And if strength of schedule doesn't decide it, I believe division or conference tiebreakers are used, and then a coin flip.
  7. New avatar dibs?
  8. I swear to God they didn't watch the Rose Bowl. They couldn't have.
  9. Some of the game footage was truly incredible. And he really did make everything look so effortless. Ultimately, though, he couldn't stand to be away from his mother and little brother, and his attitude led him down a path that it took years to return from. Incredible that he was playing professional football and was barely out of his teen years.
  10. Oh God. Bills: Horrid. Sabres: Awful. Cubs: Horrid. Bobcats: Awful. UB: Horrful.
  11. Nah, it's just that everybody's different. I love the heat and can't stand the cold. Some people hate the heat and live for winter. I like women in skirts, others like them in snowpants. Whatever.
  12. Completely different circumstances. But yeah, horrible idea.
  13. Haha, 10-week! Yes, for sure, it certainly has me leaning the PS3 way. I appreciate all the feedback. It seems to me like they're both great systems. Also, I'm reading that the iMac setup with Xbox users has been frustrating.
  14. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. They'd lose out on the guaranteed money of the original deal, but I think that's about it. I know absolutely nothing about salary caps, etc.
  15. Thanks for the feedback so far, folks. Like grandma's birthday checks? Did you see what happened there? Is Chemical Bank still open? Not loving this idea.
  16. Today I got a check from work as a furlough reimbursement, and I've decided to blow the money on something I enterily don't need -- a gaming system. It's pretty clear that I'm not a serious gamer, otherwise I would have one of these by now, but I have a 10-week-old baby girl at home, so I find myself on the couch a lot more often these days. Which system do you all prefer? I can say this -- I don't care about BluRay. I care about reliability, game quality and wireless capability. A couple more notes: I have an iMac -- will that adversely affect any kind of wireless connectivity with the Xbox? Which system is better for online play? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
  17. Spiller's going to be a star. I thought this thread was going to be about McKelvin. I'll wave and cautiously walk backward out the door.
  18. I take it they lost?
  19. Umm... don't go to a private school?
  20. Book: "Patrimony" by Phillip Roth (1991). Not Roth's best work, but nonetheless it's probably a book any son can appreciate. Movie: "Rebecca" (1940). Seemingly Hitchcock's forgotten classic. Great. Album (tie): "Either/Or" by Elliot Smith (1997). Similar to Roth in that it's probably not the artist's best work (that's probably 1998's X/O), but easily one of the most underappreciated albums I own. I could listen to it every day. You can feel the emotion in that album. "Method: Fail. Repeat" by The Kite-Eating Tree (2004). Just a really, really good rock album. Great if you you're a fan of the bands Helmet or Quicksand. "These Liquid Lungs" by Cadillac Blindside (2002).
  21. How in the world would that team score 24 points?
  22. You can't underestimate the loss of Felton Huggins.
  23. Whatever, man. My posts are like gold. You know, like urine.
