  1. Pretty even, though CM won both meetings this year. One game by one point. UB's chances aren't good with their best player hobbling. But there's always a chance!
  2. Or his inability to grasp a fumble against the Chiefs. That being said, I always respected the job he did. Many, many big catches up the seam.
  3. Anybody TBDers play against him in high school?
  4. Free agency isn't 24 hours old. I'm still moderately shocked that LeSean McCoy is a Buffalo Bill. That's an unbelievable win.
  5. One fewer penalty a game for the Bills next year. Noted.
  6. I'm a fan of White's so far, but if UB makes the NCAAs for the first time, I suspect Hurley will get sniffs from power conference schools. Maybe even without a berth. Either way, I hope White can keep the hiring momentum going. I actually liked the Leipold hire.
  7. Any hurt feelings will be mostly healed by the time this is finalized.
  8. Stumbled upon this link: http://drunkard.com/issues/01-04/01-04-40-things.htm I'm wondering how many of these items you have crossed off during your drinking life. I've managed to clear a meager 10 items on this list (and that's as high as it will ever get), but I know there are some serious professionals on TBD. How many have you done? Winner gets nothing but stink-eyed judgement from the peanut gallery.
  9. Never been there, but a guy I once met told me Macau is "Vegas on crack." That's all I got.
  10. Readers will hardly notice the change, and it makes sense. AP subscriptions have become hugely expensive, and the News already has secondary wire options, as noted, like the WaPo news service, LA Times and more. Just wondering how they'll use the money they're saving here.
  11. They won games, but the Clausen during the Irish years was not great. He lucked into a weak year for QBs. Winston has more talent, undoubtedly. A better leader, too, it seems.
  12. Ahhh, Christ, dude. I remember you were dead on last winter.
  13. If this is a save-money-right-now situation, you can halt service until football season. I think you can do that twice a year at no penalty. The downside is it extends the contract for the length of the pause, I believe, so not the best option if you want to entirely cut the cord.
  14. Because it's easy for people like us to say what we would have done in that situation. I certainly have not called plays for the Seahawks this year. I don't know what's inside the coach's mind when he makes that decision. I do know that he's not a complete moron. They called a play they thought would work and it failed. All the criticism they're getting is completely fair -- too many things can go wrong throwing it in that situation -- but sometimes *$ happens, folks. I'm not sure had the play worked that we would hear many people today saying "Ooooh! They won despite taking that huge risk in throwing the ball there!" Nah, we'd just know they won. That's football. Easy to second-guess.
  15. Who said you can't criticize anything? Did you somehow completely miss the first two sentences of my post, where I said what I would have done differently?
  16. I thought they'd go bootleg there. Wilson would either score or come close after faking it to Lynch. Even if they didn't score they still have two more shots. Hindsight is amazing.
  17. Isn't Casserly current? Edit: Thought Jets hired him. Guess not.
