  1. So you told me to shut my mouth, read my post wrong, then almost repeat what I said, and I have taken it to a childish level? I don't usually use the word "turd", but what I wanted to type would have been taken out by the bad language police on here. I basically said Lynch was the best since Thurman, then you slammed me and then said he might have been the best since Thurman? What sense does that make? None.
  2. But, but, but he kept the Bills in Buffalo?
  3. I totally agree. The Bills have to be in the bottom 10% without a doubt. Was a little surprised to see the Sabres so high. I know there is excitement with new ownership but wasn't sure how it would rank on players, etc. Awesome to see them so high on the list, and the second highest NHL team to boot.
  4. How about you shut your freaking mouth! For one, I wasn't talking about Freddy I was talking about Lynch. And I didn't say he was in Thurman's class, if you read my post before you get turd mouth, I said he was the best since Thurman, in English that doesn't include Thurman. Here is my post: He is as good of a back as this team has had since Thurman's prime, and without a doubt the most exciting runner since then. Read a post before you criticize someone. Wow?
  5. I totally agree, another move that by this new front office that just makes you shake your head. What was even more bothersome, was that for one game they started Lynch and gave him the majority of the carries just to put him on display like he was a car for sale or something, which was so obvious it was brought up over and over by the television announcers. If they thought he wasn't the best back on the team (and I think he probably was), then he shouldn't have been starting, and putting trading Lynch as the top priority over the team winning. All that and they still got less or him then they could have gotten at the draft if they traded him. He is as good of a back as this team has had since Thurman's prime, and without a doubt the most exciting runner since then.
  6. That may be true in it's simplest terms, but alot of Bills fans don't fall into those terms. Alot of them after drinking 10-12 beers in the parking lot, then a handful of big beers at the stadium act like asses and ruin the whole gameday experience for everyone sitting around them. So to rebute your statement, drunken idiots sitting next to you can bother/affect you, maybe even more. Look, I like to drink beer in moderation, I am an ex-smoker who doesn't like being around smokers anymore, but to say that drinking a beer, or several beers can't bother/affect the person sitting next to you as much as some smoker up out of the stands in a corner somewhere is ridiculous. But you will never see beer taken out of the stadium because it brings in too much money. If you weren't allowed to bring in your own cigarettes but had to buy them in the stadium at some outragious price, those would never be disallowed either.
  7. Five things he needs to accomplish in 2011 to prove he's the man 1. Win 2. Win 3. Win 4. Win 5. Win
  8. That is pretty much what my post says?
  9. He has to get through camp (if there is one) healthy first.
  10. I would just as soon if they are going to ban smoking totally (I am a non-smoker) that they ban beer sales too. Having someone smoke in a way off area away from the stands isn't as bad as having a drunk ass around you ruining the whole game day experience for you, as well as many other families and young kids. They will never do that though for one reason-people bring there own cigarettes for the most part to the stadium, so they don't lose money like they do if they don't sell beer.
  11. I wonder if a picture of his helmet was leaked? Or is he waiting to the unveiling before he breaks it out?
  12. And we haven't made the Playoffs since? If I am not mistaken, all 3 of them played their last game for the Bills in the "Music City Ripoff" which was our last appearance in the post season.
  13. I don't think we need to sign a receiver, at least as a top priority anyway, too many other holes and receiver may be our deepest position now if the young guys continue to develop from last season. From everything I have read, TJ is pretty much out of Baltimore. Baskett as of right now is property of the Virginia Destroyers UFL team down here, so hoping for a Kendra sighting at a game. This team is too young and inexperienced in my opionion to add a player that has the potential to be a locker room distraction like a Braylon Edwards, Plaxico Burress or any other players with questionable character issues.
  14. I like it, but I am sure Ralphie won't. I am not buttering any guys buns, please that is a mental picture I didn't need. That is highly likely too, very good point. It has been years since the top free agents in the NFL would have even considered coming to Buffalo. The way the organization has been run, the lack of excitment in the area, the weather among other things has turned the top tier players off. But oddly, when players do come here (often because it is their only choice), the majority of them really end up liking it. It has really always been like that, just like in Jim Kelly's case, he went to the USFL because he didn't want to come to Buffalo, but once he did, he has never really left.
  15. I used to smoke quite a bit, and quite probably almost 20 years ago (although there have been a few short period of lighting up) in between, and whenever I had a beer I wanted to smoke. Will this effect beer sales? My guess is, the shitter stalls will be full of smoke, and if they really enforce it there will be a small line of people exiting the stadium. I don't smoke now, and haven't in along time, and can't really stand being around smokers anymore, but isn't that the purpose of designated smoking areas?
  16. The charging buffalo got much bigger when they switched to the red helmets. I too like the helmet, but it would be better imo if the buffalo were as big as it has been on the red helmets. Did anything change from the early 80's helmets, it doesn't appear so.
  17. Wow. That dude needs some excitement in his life. Not only does he intentionally have his fly open, it looks like he is staring at his junk?
  18. Wow, you didn't jump on me for being negative? I think he can be a really good receiver, not too sure about great, but the one area he really needs to concentrate on are chipping away at those stone hands.
  19. By reading this board since the draft in April, I thought Jasper was already on the Wall of Fame at the stadium.
  20. Let's hope his Tweet is accurate. Would be about time to end this silliness of millionaires and billionaires fighting over money like they are going to the foodstamp line if they don't get their ways.
  21. From Profootballfocus.com: 1 – Stevie Johnson – Johnson was one of 2010’s break-out players, racking up 1,073 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns as the sixth-most targeted wide receiver in the NFL (139). A former stand-out at Kentucky, Johnson finished among the best wide receivers in the NFL with 12 missed tackles (second among wide receivers) and 414 yards after the catch (sixth) but also led the league with 13 dropped passes. But dude, come on, that drop against the Steelers wasn't because of his lack of concentration, it was God's fault-just ask him.
  22. The list that I saw on bleacherreport that had Chan at #22 had Marvin Lewis as the worst coach in the NFL.
  23. I totally agree. I like Johnson, while at the same time hope he gets rid of alot of his "Hot Dog" mentality for good, or at least until he can back it up and not drop so many balls. I certainly hope not, but for all we know, 2010 might have been Johnson's and Fitz's best years of their careers. I also agree with your point that at this stage, Lee Evans is a much better and RELIABLE receiver than Stevie is. That might be true, but you could also say that if he hadn't lifted his jersey with some stupid phrase written on his t-shirt the week before, and followed it up with a fine and several interviews, half of the people that know who he is now, wouldn't recognize his name if they heard it.
  24. What other pro teams can learn from Mavs win Have an owner who is willing to spend as much money as possible to win, but not interfere with the operation of the franchise. Hire smart people to run the organization and sit on the sidelines and be a cheerleader. And like the original poster said, play as a team.
  25. Not sure he would ever amount to more than what he has, but I have always said on here (and been jumped on) that Losman's career got pointed downhill when Mularkey was yanking him in and out every time he threw a bad pass. Did anyone really think that Kelly Holcomb was going to be the future? Alot of people thought Losman was. I would be all for it. Are there better options, I would think so, like Matt Moore or even Clasen from Carolina maybe?
