  1. It truly is like a modern-day Dr. Faustus, no? At least for some. For others, they truly don't care about animals and hate those of us who do. It's creepy.
  2. How refreshing, a Trent Edwards thread.
  3. OH and SIXTEEN, baby!!! You see it coming, don't you?
  4. Weeeeird, I was just saying something exactly like that in another thread. I also wonder.
  5. ...and TBD it's little clown car? I'm just sayin'
  6. When they stacked the line like you just said, it'd be interesting to watch the tape and see how many times our stellar receivers got open in time for Trent to even think of throwing it to them. In other words, one and a half seconds. Because, remember, he's deathly afraid of INTs, so they had better be OPEN. And our guys are not the best WRs out there, now, are they?
  7. Brohm would have thrown a ball father than 9 yards on that last 4th down, pretty sure. I'd even venture a guess he'd have heaved it end zone. But the question didn't necessarily ask that, so forget I said anything.
  8. Any guy with more than one lap is gonna be a problem, I don't care how good your O-Line is.
  9. I tried to coin the name "Old Footsteps" for him, but for whatever reason, "Trentative" stuck. But both work. He'll be a decent QB on a team with a competent O-Line and TE package.
  10. No way of knowing whether he'd have brought the ball up with him had he tried, though, that's why the replay confirmed the call. The dude screwed up. All he had to do was bring the ball up in his hand as he stood up to exit the end zone and the rule wouldn't have come into play.
  11. Crap, you had to break out the big guns early... You win. That was classic Trent. God love him.
  12. I wish Mike Vick would just die and get taken back to Hell by his father so we can all stop reading posts by his sickeningly apathetic apologists. You guys would draft Adolf Hitler if he could throw a spiral.
  13. Pretty sure he made good throws on those three plays where he had morte than 3 seconds to think. Face it, only a handful of people will say that he'd be another Peyton manning behind a better line, but this bunch of O-linemen and TEs are atrocious. High school level type of guys.
  14. 0-16 two seasons in a row and we'll be cheering them into the Superbowl the next year. That's how it is. If they win 6-8 games they'll never get over the hump. Why we want them to be mediocre when they can just SUCK is beyond me. Get the bags out and be proud to wear them, is what I say.
  15. Any network that can put together as stupendously boring and mistake-filled a show as StatZone shouldn't throw stones. That channel blows, always has. Any worse and they'd be Showtime.
  16. I disagree. You can totally count on Poz to be there for you, game in....ten games out....
  17. He's always gonna be a guy who needs better protection to not wet his pants. Anyone who expected him to somehow become a guy who can be better under the exact same horrid O-Line was deluding themselves.
  18. You know what I'd like to see? I'd like to see that Detroit receiver make a "football move" on that ref.
  19. I'm a bigger fan of the team sucking balls and finishing last a couple seasons so we can draft superheroes and get back to the Superbowl before the asteroid destroys us all.
  20. Correct. According to the rule, he "dropped" the ball and the call was right. AND the rule needs to somehow be changed to make sure that isn't ruled a "drop" ever again.
