Well a smart GM never would have drafted Spiller in teh first place. Now I am afraid Nix ahs to sleep in the bed he mad. I dont have any confidence in Nixs regime to draft good players.

Bob Kraft, you might not like him

Ok, so I should start by buying the parking lots? -
When KW started pulling double teams from Schobel in 2008 I knew this guy was getting good, and I have been a big fan of his since day 1. Now, if only we drafted Ngata! Add in Orakpo - thats one dirty DL! Fire Modrak

I am drunk but thtat is F***ing awesome. I noramally hate WRs but Stevie is one of the best. Deff better than Lee and one of the best players on the team. Him, KW, Poz, Wood. Levitre, they are the core to build around. I honeslty have hope for this team for the first time in years. w2hat chat is doing for the O, I can only hopw our D continues to improve. It sucks cause with the Ets and NE in our diision Its going to be so hard to make it happpen

Being a Black QB; It Must be Tough
High Mark replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The most racist thing in teh NFL is the Rooney rule, which REQUIRES teams to interview a coach BASED SOLEY ON RACE AND RACE ALONE - thats teh deffinition of racism, is it not? I am still waiting for the rule which requires teams to have a certian number of white players on the active roster - because they are just as good of football players and deserve an equal opportunity!!! PS - I am still in favor of signing Vick and/or Vince Young and/or trading for McNabb and would be totally cool with Warran Moon being a coach. -
Gailey has a history of getting these results with scrubbs before - John Clayton was on WGR tonight talking about just that. I think its gaileys O plain and simple. Sure Fitz is a smart guy and makes some quick decisions, but he isnt accurate and I really think his success is the same thing that Thigpen and all the others benifited from.

Good I hope he wins. Leach is outspoken but I like how he rolls. I think him getting fired was BS

Harbaugh moving closer to Michigan
High Mark replied to billsevans's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont like Michigan and love Harbaugh. I will be very angry to see Luck go to a team that is not the Bills. Im not a big fan of this really. -
"Trent Edwards is the Bills starting QB in 2010" - Chan Gailey, Circa September, 2010 A lot changes in a year, but seeing as Luck wont be available to be had I think this is a pretty safe assumption, and that most fans assumed it would be as such.

What's With the Indented Helmets?
High Mark replied to Glory Bound's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are a lot of new helmet designs out that are supposed to be better on concussions. The Peyton manning Revo style came out 5 years ago – they are supposed to flex when you hit/get hit to absorb some of the impact. They also have air bladders in them that you can adjust for a perfect fit which are also supposed to help. The newer ones, like the one Trent wore this year, same one as Roethisburger/Tebow are wearing are the newest REVO style I think – both by Riddell. Schutt also makes a bunch of new helmets. The one Brando Jacobs wears has a spring loaded facemask to absorb head on hits. I think Eli wears a Schutt too. The NFL has a contract with Riddell to provide helmets but players can wear whatever they want – just like cleats. There really isn’t any proof that the new helmets are better at preventing concussions, but they are a lot more comfortable than the older style ones. The main reason players don’t wear the new ones is the way they look. -
Terrell Owens Calls Darrelle Revis 'Average' Cornerback
High Mark replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he is going a little too far, but I agree with him to a degree. I never understood the ball washing he got from ESPN. Revis “miraculously” became the best cornerback ever at the same time Rex Ryan took over and took their entire D to #1 – maybe it has something to do with their blitzes? Everytime I see a Jets game, he is getting beat just as often as most another above average corners. Randy Moss tooled on him so much he got injured. In fact, I thought Cromartie did a better job this year on Evans than Revis did last year. I think TO should shut up but he is just calling it as he sees it. -
My thoughts on the current situation
High Mark replied to Billshank Redemption's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Evans Johnson Easley Parrish Nelson Jones How many good WRs does a team need? the answer is ZERO! WRs are good because their QB is good. How much is Fitzgerald helping teh Cards now that no one can throw him the ball? Draft guys who have an impact on every single play - LINEMAN -
can we bench Whitner for GW? GW is a guy who needs to be on the field, and I am tired of Whitner ariving at the WR 1 second after he has caught the ball for a touchdown.

Im very certain Carimi will be available at our 2nd round pick, and potentially even our third if we get really lucky. His feet are not nimble and he bends a lot at the waist and not at the knees. I think it will hurt him more as a prospect than as a player, and would love him to our RT in the future. But if that Nevada guy can run that at the combine I doubt he gets past teh Raiders. That said, if speed and quickness were all the matter Maybin would be on the active roster - there is a lot more to a good player than that.

Man, do I #@$%ing HATE the NFL!!!!!!
High Mark replied to High Mark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would consider that if I was allowed to take the day off, which I am not (no vacation time for me until I am here a full year) But another guy from my office is doing just that. Its gonna cost him 150 for another night in the hotel and 300 to change his flight. That’s 450 for a game I really have little interest in anyways. I would have never scheduled this trip if it was going to cost me much in the first place, I decided to do it because it was free. Thanks for the tip, I tried, and it wont help me. Their last flight is even earlier than the Tampa Airport. The game isn’t sold out. Tampa rarely sells out and likely wont. But maybe more out of town fans would have traveled to the game if they could have planned it more than 12 days in advance. I wasn’t posting asking for your guys sympathy, I was just pointing out how the NFL has been operating is bound to hurt them in the long run by alineating fans like this. -

Im not getting first class treatment, I am MISSING OUT on first class treatment. And I decided to go to this game instead of bourbon street for new years. Big mistake. Beside, its not that I am getting screwed, it’s the principle of the thing. Here the NFL is gonna be blacking out this game, what do they expect? The league complains about attendance and they wonder why? Maybe its because tickets cost an arm and a leg, you change game times on people who try to plan going to these events, you make these ridiculous rule changes that every fan hates, and want the government to fund new stadiums while people are making less and being taxed more. Its just another thing on a long and growing list that the NFL is doing wrong. -
So the Owners of the company I work for also own the Bucs, and one of the only perks we get is free game tickets - free parking, on field passes, club level seats, guests of the Owner - the works. So I decided for the first time since 2003 to miss a beloved Bills game and go to Tampa for a weekend to catch the Bucs/Falcons game on Sunday and the South Florida/UConn game on Sat, taking advantage of a free airline ticket I earned by getting screwed off an Airplane last Feb. But wouldn’t you know it the NFL finds another way to #@$% me. They missed out on their $50 dollar parking so they had to F me by inventing “flex scheduling”. Its this policy where after an out of town fan buys a plane ticket and then they change the start time of the game so the fans cant make their #@$%ing flight. All this is in an attempt to keep good matchups on TV – as if anyone wants to watch the Bucs play anyways, on Fox none the less. Worst of all this game isn’t even going to sell out and is going to be BLACKED OUT locally. Well, no wonder they don’t sell out – the league alienates fans with stupid, hypocritical policies like this. How can fans plan to attend a game when they don’t know when the game is going to start? Then when they don’t show up to the stadium it gets blacked out. WTF? So because there isn’t a later flight home than the one I am already scheduled to be on, I guess I will have to leave halfway through the 2nd quarter and haul ass to the airport. Or maybe I will just watch the Bills game in a bar and not even go. The NFL is already ruining football with their rule changes and enforcement, I guess now they had to find another way to flip fans the bird. I am so #@$%ing pissed right now I don’t think I will watch another non-Bills NFL game the rest of the season, maybe even ever.

Everywhere I look its drafting. SJ>>> Hardy K Williams>>> McCargo T McGee, J Greer, Pat Williams, Jred Jackson>>> Maybin, Mike Williams etc. Who is in charge of rounds 4-7 & the undrafteds? He/they deserve a serious promotion.

10th Anniversary of the 2001 Draft
High Mark replied to 217014170's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we had a good scouting staff I would say trade down, but I am staying pat or moving up. Whats another 2nd or third if we add more hardy/Troupe/Carrington/Youboty/Ellis? Ill take my chance with a higher 1st being that good. -

Good Point OP, but there are also instances of good QBs getting killed with no time to throw - like the first Quarter of this game. QB is #1, 2 and 3, but OL and DL are both veryu important. Now if you wanted to talk about RBs, WRs and DBs....

Solution for NFL concussion problem
High Mark replied to machinegun12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The answer is pretty clear - mandatory mouth gaurds go to the Kelso Helmet. There was a study about Pee Wee kids wearign the Kelso and it reduced their risk 805 Or something. Mouthgaurds have been used for years and are required in every other level of the sport so they are nothing new. The science beind concusions are sudden impacts. Having a hard exterior shell is not the best way - which is why boxing helemts dont have a hard exterior shell.
