  1. That would be great. We could go to the 3-4 and have instant success like Denver did this season. I am all for Nolan - and really like OCs/DCs with HC experience.
  2. Well we could have hired a worse coach... I think...
  3. Ill cook you up so Crow and you can eat it out of your hat next season when Gerhart runs straight over NFL competiton. His top end speed is not all that great, but neither is Jacksons/Lynchs/ or 2000 rusher Jamal Lewis. Its about Acceleration at the RB position - thats why Peterson and Chris Johnson are so good, its not their top end speed. Gerhart has the best balence I have ever seen and soaks straight on hits like they were cotton balls. He is another stud RB that will fall in the draft because of the idiots at the helm. Thats how the Shuane Greens/Frank Gores/Tashard Choices of the world fall into the 3rd/4th rounds. Gerhart would be the best back on this team next season if we are that fortunate.
  4. I posted this elsewhere. Since 2002: 2002 Mike Williams Texas Tackle 2003 Willis McGahee Miami (FL) Running Back 2004 Lee Evans Wisconsin Wide Receiver 2004 J.P. Losman Tulane Quarterback 2005 No 1st Round Pick, 2006 Donte Whitner Ohio State Safety 2006 John McCargo North Carolina State Defensive Tackle 2007 Marshawn Lynch 2008 Leodis McKelvin Troy Defensive Back 20091 Aaron Maybin Penn State Defensive End/Outside Linebacker 20091 Eric Wood Louisville Center Thats ten players since 2002 the Bills have drafted in the 1st round. The only one who is above average and not too young to grade is Evans. In hindsight I would trade all ten of those first round picks for a QB like McNabb. A top ten pick holds almost no value to a team that drafts as terribly as we do. Lets dump it and get a proven commodity if need be. Sure Id rather give up a second, but they may not bite. Best case scenario we could swap firsts for McNabb. Either way I would be fully willing to give up the 9th overall pick for McNabb. (I would wait till draft day to make the trade however, just in case Cluason fell or something.
  5. Id at least like them to have options. Right now its Fraizer or no one. Fraizer was not their first pick either. They have been rejected by Shanahan, Cowher, Harbaugh. Shottenhiemer, and it looks like Grimm may shun them too. Those first three guys were offered the job and rejected it, the latter rejected interviews. I have to believe that Fraizer is not high on the list. I really dont want them hiring Frazier because no one else would take the job - thats embarrassing. Remember guys Fraizer has interviewed with like 8 teams for HC openings and hasnt been hired by them. When there is smoke there is fire. I have heard reports that Billick has been assembling a staff for a potential comeback to coaching. Well if he is coming back this year then he knows where his only option is. If he is serious about coming back then the Bills should at least interview him. Same with Mike Martz claiming he would take the job. At least get three guys in here that would accept the job, then pick the best guy.
  6. Will he even want the job? He could hold out another year and take teh Dallas job or take another job with a team I am sure he thinks is a better place to be. Coaches are turning us down left and right, Garret is in the best position of them all - and the most likely to say no IMO.
  7. That would be a sweet draft. I would prefer Campbell over Davis, but Baluga over them both if he declares. Has Pierre Pual declared? I believe he has one more year of eligability. Norwood is a player and will be undervalued at draft time because of his size but he is a great NFL prospect. Greg Hardy in the 3rd would be a huge steal. I think Hardy would have to go in 2 and Norwood in 3 to be more realistc. Its nice to see you put Pike in a realistc round, and didnt say "trade back into the first for Pike" like the rest of the board does.
  8. Giving up easy would have been giving up in 2002. 8 years later he is still a fan. Those 8 years have been everything but easy.
  9. The proof is in the pudding. Just look at the players/FO personal this team has fired/let walk/never paid. Polian, AJ Smith, Pat Williams, Sueing Wade after firing him, thats just the FO. Commitment to winning includes putting petty differences aside for the betterment of the team.
  10. Stellar running game and stellar D. The real key to winning football games.
  11. Why o why did we ever let them go.... (I guess I understand Hargrove with the roids and all)
  12. 2 of their all pros were all pros long before their Viking careers began. 1 of their all pros was an all pro long before Fraziers Viking Career. Even Dicky J's D would look good with that DL
  13. All hating of the Coybows aside, they are a great football team who plays a great style of football. Great attacking D, massive OL, 3 stud RBs - they are a great team to watch. That really kills me to say I enjoy watching Cowboy games. But with the Bills being the Bills the last 10 years I have to get enjoyment from my football watching elsewhere. On that note, I really enjoyed watching the Vikes, Saints, and Ravens this season.
  14. Only if he brings his daughter... (she is the one dancing in that Tom Hanks movie Charlie Wilsons War when he is meeting with the Israel and Pakistan presidents of whatever)
  15. Hmmm borderline top 40 pick from Penn St? Sounds like a done deal to me.
  16. I love GW. Best player on the team this season IMO.
  17. Because Harbaugh didnt sign his contract extension for almost 13 months because he "reportedly" wanted to make the jump to the NFL. I believe he neglected talk with ND about that job for the same reason... he wants to coach in the NFL. The only time he would prefer to stay in the college ranks is apparently when the only open job is in Buffalo...
  18. Dude as if my life as a Bills fan needed to get any worse. The long shot coach who I have wanted for about a year turns down the job. I dont even want to follow the draft this year because I dont think I can take another one of my favorite players from my favorite school who is a top 5 talent and plays a position of huge need for us falling to our pick only to be passed on by a bunch of clueless idiots. This FO/Franchise is an embarrassment. I mean really, only one guy has said maybe to being our coach.
  19. Wait, didnt the Seahawks just do that? Maybe I just missed it cause I was in Mexico on vacation, but I never heard they were interviewing Carroll, then one day - boom - he was their coach. They either met in secret or just offered him the job - why is it so unbelievable that the Bills did the same thing with Harbaugh? The college ranks are like that. You never heard Kiffen was interviewed for the USC job, but one day it was just announced.
  20. Hmmm, december 21st, 2010. The last day of the Bills at RWS and the ending of the Mayan Calender.... Coincidence...I THINK NOT!!!
  21. I remember seeing that the Bills (ie Ralph) made 34 Mil a season or two ago. Once the revenue sharing is gone though, Im sure that number will fall. But I believe the Bills were the 3rd most profitable that year because we had no debt against us. Without the revenue sharing and the no cap, I would guess we could spend 20-25 Mil and break even. purely a guess though. I just want to add, that while going into last offseason the Redskins had 8 mil in cap space, yet signed Haynsworth, D.Hall, Dockery, and others to huge HUGE deals, and were still under the cap. The Bills had like 30ish Mil in free cap space, signed TO, Fitzpatric, and Hangartner to table scrap deals, and somehow ran out of cap space. Something tells me our cap guru blows donkey nuts.
  22. So how mnay more tipped passes do you want to be gift wrapped and handed to the guy?
  23. I say we trade our first round pick for McNabb or Kolb, nuts yes, but here me out. With the 9th pick in the draft, only 3-4 teams could come away with a less than average player. The Bills are one of those teams. We will more than likely get another bum player who is out played by a 5th round pick. Since 2002: 2002 Mike Williams Texas Tackle 2003 Willis McGahee Miami (FL) Running Back 2004 Lee Evans Wisconsin Wide Receiver 2004 J.P. Losman Tulane Quarterback 2005 No 1st Round Pick 2006 Donte Whitner Ohio State Safety 2006 John McCargo North Carolina State Defensive Tackle 2007 Marshawn Lynch California Running Back 2008 Leodis McKelvin Troy Defensive Back Thats 8 players since 2002, and only 1 has been an abover average starter (Evans, I will give you McKelvin is too young in his carear to judge too). I would trade ALL EIGHT of those players for McNabb. Now, another way to look at it is like this - I would trade those 8 first round picks for McNabb. So, while the 9th overall pick may have huge value to teams that draft well, it has almost no value to a team that drafts as terrible as we do. ie: Would you trade Mike Williams for McNadd/Kolb? YES Would you trade Donte Whitner for McNadd/Kolb? YES Would you trade Marshawn Lynch for McNadd/Kolb? YES Would you trade JP Losman for McNadd/Kolb? YES Would you trade Lee Evans for McNadd/Kolb? YES Would you trade Aaron Maybin for McNadd/Kolb? YES Would you trade 2010 9th overall pick for McNadd/Kolb? I think you get my point.
  24. Lets get that bandwagon so damn big we can drive it straight into RWS abd hire him ourselves. I will be left down with anyone other than Harbaugh... Dude clearly wants to move to the NFL, but his only choice would be Buffalo this year.... and we are too dumb to even interview him
