  1. Thanks for responding, I more or less agree. Personally after being a season ticket holder the last 2 years I think I saw the most we could get out of Bledsoe - and it wasn't anything more than 9-7 and no playoffs. I don't think he is capable at this stage in his career of taking that next step. Now I don't expect JP to be the MVP, but I think he is worth a shot, and if he fails, he fails. Then it will be all on Donahoe because he will be 0-2 for QBs and 0-1 with coaches, pending Mularkey. Thanks for coming on, though, I wasn't trying to be callous by adding that to my post, just figured you or Brad would be roaming (I heard Bauch metion TBD yesterday afternoon) and might want to interject. I don't hear WGR too often because I go to school in Rochester, but I like the morning show when I am up that early and listen, which is usually too early for me!
  2. Decent episode tonight. I've caught all but 2 or 3 of the episodes so far, really like the tuesday repeat on CNBC since I sometimes am doing other things Thursday nights. And this is the first season I've watched. Definitely rooting for the college grads as I will graduate college myself in 2 months. I thought Audrey would be gone last weak, and knew she'd be gone this week after the blow up early on. I coudn't belive she wanted to be PM. And I gotta say although he's terrible for the jobs, John is great on TV. He rips on everyone it seems, although not sure who he will be aimed at now. I don't really agree with George's fill-in since the fact that she's an immature 22 yr old (and I am 22 yrs old so I should know lol) kills her. It really seems like Magna has caught a groove the last 2 weeks that they nearly had 2 weeks ago when Michael was fired. The 5 seem to work pretty well. And Audrey, while hot, just didn't work on NW. It was hilarous to see Angie "turn" on her after their Survivor-like alliance. Next week's show seems to be a little more intense, espcially with the merger. Side note - I got Trump's autograph in the early 90's at a Jim Kelly celebrity baseball game at Pilot Field (called Stargaze or something like that) - actually got it on a 1 dollar bill ironically, but I have no idea where it is now. He flew in on his helicopter - love that thing. Yes, he even had it 10 years ago when he could probably barely afford it.
  3. I agree. Not sure what QB would be "right" in this situation for them. Although I will say that today while I was listening Schopp was more or less pleased, Bulldog a little less, I have not listened to the others as much lately. I know Simon never really gave a strong sense either way except for the point brought up on the last page, which sets him apart from most other radio personalities in that his shows are usually not argument driven. That said - has anyone "called" the hosts on some of this? I did hear a caller I think before the Browns game this year call up and give Sully an earful about how he was wrong and he should apologize for writing off the season - and while I hate Sully at least he conceded the point he was wrong, but that was his job and opinion, etc. As far as I know these guys seem to be like ICE, shifting the view to remain demonstrative, as AD alluded to. I wonder what their response would be to a question like that - how come the Bills were doomed to fail with Bledsoe here, and now doomed since he is gone?? Also, I know Brad and Jeremy have been on the board before, if for some reason they read this thread, I hope they would respond. They are open to criticism for putting out their views and then supposedly changing them. Anyways, who knows. I was just pissed they spent the whole afternoon talking about JP instead of giving FA news (although there was apparently none to give lol).
  4. Crazy man, yea. "That's my car!" "Looks pretty ... undriveable"
  5. lol yea they're fun to watch. It's very similar to the NHL game but with guys who don't care about getting 20 or 25 PIMs a game.
  6. Saw them play 3 weeks ago - beat the 2nd place team 4-0 (Binghamton) and threw in some olde-time hockey at the end with 7 or 8 fights. Great time, well worth the price. They truly are on a roll. It'd be great if there was national exposure for the playoffs, too, since that's the highest level of hockey being played right now.
  7. Voted for Bills Miami 42-32, but the Vikings shootout would also be worthy. They'd be games I'd be willing to shell out money for and watch again for the sheer entertainment of the games.
  8. Kellerman was bad enough in that role that "Stat Boy" aka Tony Reali replaced him. I've never seen Smith on it. Mariotti has his times. Paige IMO is the worst one on there. Some of the guys make good points. I concede that for being regional reporters they seem to have alot of knowledge on national topics. If the shouting gets bad, I either laugh or turn it off. on the last sentence
  9. Eh I don't mind the stupidity. They usually have some interesting topics on there, and when they're not shouting (not often), it's pretty entertaining.
  10. IMO he gave the same BS reasons many nat'l media do - he's still a good QB, 2004 wasn't that bad, almost made the playoffs, blah blah. Everyone is still hung up on the name. We'll see how he's doing in two years sitting in Montana. This was one topic where the ATH guys were dead on - and as I said before I usually can't stand Paige. But he was 100% right.
  11. More coming up on PTI in about 5 minutes or so - 5th headline/story
  12. I emailed him this picture of me and my buddy when I was wearing my Alexander Mogilny jersey. Gotta represent the blue and gold.
  13. Wow that might be the first time I agreed with all 4 opinions. Unlike most national writers, these guys used stats and backed up their opinion that it was a good move by the Bills to cut him. I NEVER agree with Paige! Wow.
  14. Thanks for the tip - it's coming up now (3rd buy or sell)!
  15. LIke R Rich said, Gildon was actually very good in the game. Lots of sacks. I had him at LDE for a while (sorry Kelsay) then traded him as he neared the end of his contract (my standard procedure for most players) and put Ty Warren at LDE eventually. Schobel was a very good RDE in the game, in the low 90's.
  16. I haven't played it in a while, but when I did I used Bledose in 04, then traded him and a 3rd rounder for Dan Kreider FB from Pittsburgh - he was the highest rated blocking FB. JP steadily improved each season, as did Evans and McGahee (traded Henry after 2 seasons - second he was the MVP - to the Lions for the #1 pick in the draft - next season he missed with the Lions due to injury ). JP got up to about a 97 or so. I haven't played the game in a while because I got sick of the insanely hard level that all-Madden is. I went 15-1 and blew out the Eagles in the SB in All-Pro, then couldn't get over .500 in all-Madden. I expected a dropoff, but not by that much. Especially with the high ratings I had for nearly every player (Spikes, Moorman, M Williams, Clements all at 99, Milloy, Moulds, JP, McGahee at 97 or 98, etc.).
  17. Somewhere between 900,000 and 1,000,000 - and getting smaller by the day
  18. haha he's gonna be pissed if he sees this one. You semi-redeemed yourself later on, but this one is great
  19. Not sure if I authorized you to submit these pictures to the internet This one should be framed, and I'll sign it as well... http://image18.webshots.com/19/9/19/62/205...62fWJnJA_fs.jpg I just wish I'd extended my right middle finger as well :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: The fact that one of them got hit with an egg was hilarious too
  20. Agreed. Someone HAS to take the pressure off Gerry, who too often is asked to be both the 1 and 2 guard. He is much better situated as a scorer/driver, while Billy can set up and run the offense. Gerry hit a few 3's on Saturday where he barely had any space, and was coming off screens. If he continues to concentrate on his shooting instead of his ballhandling, it'll mean nothing but good things. I agree, Pace has really come on. It looks like he realizes that while he is not the top option and won't be, he still has a valuable role and he filled that well Saturday. As long as one of the big men - Forth, Watkins, Roberts - can have a solid, physical game - that's another plus. Hak is a pencil in for 20 and 10 - just as long as he can shoot the free throws! Last thing - they need to get out to a big lead tonight. But not like the lead they gave up last month at Pitt. They need to dictate the game and play their style, not let Pitt take it over. They need a 40 minute game, like they had Saturday, not a 25 or 30 minute game like against ND, Rutgers, or Pitt last month (the loss to UConn was IMO a great game by UConn, especially Villenueva).
  21. Suzy can't stop laughing. I know it's supposed to be a fun time, but she's looking pretty dumb. But looking good too
  22. Haha he just ran into a cheerleader and didn't want to go back to the game. Nice one Dre
  23. Yea, I heard Romeo was taking him to Cleveland with him. Either as LB coach or DC.
