  1. Saying a player can't read, connoting that he's dumb if not borderline retarded, is funny? Okay, my mistake.
  2. True. He'd have to tell the kid "avoid having a loser for a father" and "when you get open, make sure your QB gets you the ball."
  3. Great song. But it's "hookah smoking caterpillar."
  4. Giants-Titans. Book it.
  5. Nothing. He's already done enough to himself.
  6. The pick-seven in the redzone was killer. At least a 10-point swing, which would have changed the entire complexion of the game.
  7. Barney picked Dubya.
  8. This is a surprise to anyone?
  9. So you believe that most people who voted for McCain knew fully well what his policies were? That they knew they were going to be implemented, and would work? If you voted for Dubya (and now it seems like no one wants to admit they ever did), did you feel you knew his policies? Did he come close to succeeding? McCain was sunk before he ever began, given the albatross that was the last 8 years with a Republican president. His campaign just made it worse.
  10. So then...how does this all relate to Obama again? He was merely elected future President. Any actions taken by other countries have nothing to do with him at present. And no I don't think Dubya should consult with Obama. Dubya is still the man in charge...I think.
  11. Apparently a lot more than "maverick."
  12. Doubtful. Most can't admit that Dubya presidency was a colossal failure.
  13. Too friggin' young!
  14. True. And nice avatar.
  15. You're on the same side as conner.
  16. It's about the people and not Obama himself? That's terrible! And you believe that voting for Twiddle-dum would have actually improved your life?
  17. As opposed to throwing out the words "hope," "change," and "maverick," after voting with Dubya 90% of the time? Pandering to women and the superficial crowd by nominating a Barbie Doll for VP?
  18. I'll be paying more under Obama's tax plan. So too will a lot of people who voted for him. It's not as if all my money after a certain income level will be gone, leading to no incentive to work hard and make money. Most of us realize that the money has to come from somewhere (not China) and expecting the government to reign-in spending is mostly a pipe dream.
  19. I like Obama. Obviously he has a far different perspective than any President that came before him and I think he genuinely wants to make a difference. I've just become so jaded when it comes to politicians that I need to wait for results. As for McCain, I believe that his handlers were responsible for his gaffes and that he's a decent man. But by going along with them, he proved he shouldn't have been elected President.
  20. Big money backing him? Like Big Oil and Halliburton backed Dubya? And the greed and corruption that followed? Like I said in the other thread, "Meet the new boss. The same as the old boss." Maybe.
  21. As the Dean said, it was a matter of choosing the less horrible choice. I believe we're less !@#$ed with Obama than McCain.
  22. Are you one of these "rich people?"
  23. DBM has a point. Who wouldn't want MORE of the past 8 years? It was babylon!
