a) I have done this exact thing before and made it with time to have a beer before the plane. Probably once/twice a year.
b) It helps a lot if you have pre-check. Do not check your luggage and check in online before you get to the airport. Have the boarding pass on your phone. All time savers.
c) If you do decide to go for it - do NOT park in the stadium lots. I park at the corner of California and Big Tree and briskly walk to my car once its over.
There is the risk of getting caught in a DUI check point or something of the sort in which case you are sunk. But generally traffic moves all the way to the airport.
Leave the game at 4:30 - 15 min to the car + 30 to the airport + 15 min to return car/etc. leaves you about 45 min to get in and through security which most likely be enough time on a Sunday night.
Also- should go without saying.. DONT DRINK AND DRIVE!
I think you can make the argument that Scott Chandler is an average TE in this league with average stats.. Clay is an above average TE with average stats.
Also stats do not tell the story. Also they are not at all the same type of player.
That is all.
Good thing we don't plan on throwing the football
But seriously, Jets are designing themselves to beat one team, when they should be focusing on the rest of the East IMHO.
