  1. yeah, well you don’t want to look at the screen capture of that third and 12 on the Chiefs 40 yard line with four minutes left where at least three of the Chiefs offensive lineman were 5+ yards downfield. Shameful.
  2. You are facing a prolific offense and the best field goal kicker in the league. You are giving up 8 yards/ carry. To rest your hopes on a full stop is silly. If they score a touchdown then the game is over, but anything other than a touchdown you are still in during the game. If you missed the two point conversion you have to stop a score anyway, so you are literally no worse off.
  3. I said it in the shout box as soon as they scored they should have gone for two. I have heard the other argument, but I think mine is better.
  4. so why not drop the first line and the COVID-19 stuff, and just present the rest?
  5. since statistically it doesn’t really matter you can play it however you want. Just know that going for the extra point first and two later gives you worse odds, it’s just that the difference is so small it doesn’t matter.
  6. it absolutely makes sense. Its just ultimately the team never really scores two more times to prove the call right. so he’s literally wrong in two different ways. He’s both illogical and he thinks it matters. LOL
  7. And the 49ers made sure it doesn’t matter.
  8. I missed it. Did he go off on a rant?
  9. And for what it’s worth, although logically you go for two points first when down by 9, statistically it is shown not to matter. Logically it is not a debate. You are right. But when 538 ran the Numbers, it didn’t make a difference. Basically if you miss the two point conversion it doesn’t really matter when you miss it. You lose.
  10. Al Michaels is bad at basic logic.
  11. I’m going to set up a new topic regarding this. I’m going to have people fill out the blank map on the 270 site and then post the screenshot. I’ll try and figure out a prize for this. I think the best thing would be able to be transfer something via email.
  12. I didn’t get it all, but this topic got way off track with a lot of personal back-and-forth. I just sort of mass deleted a whole slew of posts - no offense, but this train took a left at Albuquerque and we weren’t going that way.
  13. I hope they right that ship to a cool 6-10.
  14. Adam Gase post-game.
  15. The question is what is he rated in the year 2020? I think it’s certainly less than when he was drafted.
  16. Trigger has spoken.
  17. oh, unless it’s 2000 and I expect a winner to be declared way before then. But that might not be a bad selection given that it is a tiebreaker anyway.
  18. I like it. Tie breaker goes to? National vote margin takes a really long time to sort out. Like six months. What would be quicker, yet still interesting?
  19. Two states apportion their votes too
  20. not yet. Lol
  21. “It” can be many things.
  22. Correction: those running posters were ignored continuously. They were also asked to stop reporting posts. The events in question were both reported by non-involved 3rd party members who thought the line was crossed.
  23. I think that’s what I said.
  24. Political leaders are lagging indicators. Candidates are chosen by the people, the people aren’t lead by the candidate. As an example, look up the post-mortem plans after the Rs lost the 2012 election. In 2016, people chose the candidate that was the exact opposite of their moving forward goals agreed to in 2012.
