Marv killing his legacy?

KOKBILLS

I don't know who should coach this team in 2010, but there's a huge attitude adjustment necessary in that locker room. I would not object to Marty, as long as he had a successor on the coaching staff.

His kid? Imo Marty is the letter perfect fit, and always has been. Why he was never hired is a mystery. Or is it? :P

It is honestly sickening. He is absolutely clueless and unwilling to take any blame for hurting this franchise with his coaching hire and his horrible free agent signings and questionable draft picks. (Ngata is one of the best DT's in the game. Whitner is an average player at best!)

Marv only went to 4 superbowls because he had hall of famers and all pros all over his team. If Jimmy Johnson or someone like Cowher had those players back then, we win 2-3 of those superbowls.

Ah...you have John Guy and Tom Modrak to thank for that.

Marty told Dan Snyder once that if he was hired, he'd run the football side of the business his way and that the team would win. It turned out that Snyder was more interested in keeping his hands on the controls than he was in winning and decided to go in another direction. Marty was also fired in San Diego after a 14-2 season because of major dysfunction with AJ Smith.

So, while Marty would turn this team around and quickly, it is not clear that he'd be given free reign to do so. NB: Strong personalities like Polian and Donahoe haven't always gotten along with our ownership's inner circle.
