YEAH!!

F OSU!!!! I freaking lived in Columbus for 6 years and grew to HATE OSU and everything it stood for in that overgrown cowtown that doesn't know if it wants to remain a town or become a city with its idiotic laws and no professional sport team interests...

CBJ's, bro!!

Seriously though, hopefully the NHL team does decent in Columbus... OSU has a good team and theey've got Miami's team nearby..ish.

FYI though. The Columbus Blue Jackets are in the same NHL as your Buffalo Sabres - and they made the playoffs last year...

Hey, I never said they had no professional sports teams...I said they had no professional sports team interest, as in the majority of the people could care less about pro sports...

I lived there for ten years. I compare the Buckeyes losing to the scene from Star Wars when the death star blows up Alderon. Ob-one says a millions souls cry out then go silent. That is Columbus after yet another big game loss by the sweater vest.

I lived there too--great town--and I agree with your sentiment about the city after a loss, especially one to Michigan. :flirt:

However, what's with bashing Tressel? The guy basically rescued that team from the toilet, and they've been a top-5 team ever since, contending for the National Championship and killing Michigan every year.

I havent seen a worse officiated game in a long time. That was so bad I have to literally suspect USC paid the refs.

On the final drive, the ref throws an illegal procedure penalty against Ohio, meaning both tackles were not on the line of scrimmage, when they obviously were. If the backfield is defined as the space in which a player may line up in a manner as to be completely behind (1 yard, or not touching) any person on the line of scrimmage, and the Ohio tackles were less than a yard behind the line, that call is wrong. Without even getting technical, it was clearly wrong. That was the second time it was called incorrectly.

I was astonished at the amount of holding by USC. I have never seen anything like it. It wasnt even football out there. I am concerned that this game will set a precedent and football will become something different than it is.

Illegal procedure is not even a penalty in the college rulebook. I believe it is covered under the generic term "dead ball foul".

Relax.

It's just that you QB sucks.

WEO, I really do think that the trend is toward not calling anything short of a full nelson holding. That really changes the game. Pete Carrol takes of advantage of it by zone blocking and holding. Why push them back, when you can hold them in front of you and run wide?

I grew up in pennsylvania watching penn state, but I dont hate the bucks.

I live here now and like Columbus but hate Ohio State and there fans. The problem is they OD on the OSU punch in the summer and the expectations grow so much more out of hype than anything else. Then of course they always lose the big games and everyone blows up. I had a girlfriend a while back that broke up with me because I liked Michigan and Penn State. That's how retarded they are. It's just college football, but hey how about the BLUE yesterday!!!

You may feel that way, it has nothing to do with the fact that, regarding OSU's offense, your QB is awful.
