That was exacty my initial reaction. It's not like the Patriots are giving up an arm and a leg with the 34th overall pick in the draft. If Carruci is on point, and there are serious talks happening, the Bills NEED to at least jump in the water and explore their options with Carolina. Not only to try to get Peppers in Buffalo and away from New England, but at the very least to drive up the price for the Patriots if they can't get him in the end. It would be great if we could trade for Peppers. IMO, we need 2 DE's, not just one. Kelsay & Denney can't get a sniff of the QB and Schobel hasn't done much since 2006 (yes, I know he was injured last year, but he only had 1 sack in 5 games).
