The Fins picking Brady Quinn is an interesting call.

Dante may never be the same quarterback again. Knees are complex instruments. Some athletes can bounce back from knee injuries, some not. His knee may hobble his mobility forever.

Joey Harrington put his skills on display at RW Stadium with his 0.0 QB rating and again against the Jets at home. Nuff said.

Cleo Lemon didn't show enough in coming off the bench to relieve Harrington to show he can be a franchise quarterback.

Cleveland passing on Quinn would be the best move they've made in a long time, he has bust written all over him...the guy simply cant throw a consistant spiral and the next big game he wins will be his first. Anyone can put up stats and beat Army and Navy

I really hope Alan Branch and Okoye are both on the board when the Bills select, I prefer Branch but if they are both there and they take Okoye at least we'll know who they preferred

Since when is Mel Kiper's projections creadible?

Although, i wouldn't mind Okoye coming to Buffalo.

Agreed. I no longer waste my time listening to what he is selling. He is too often wrong. It just amazes me that the guy continues to make big bucks off of it. On one hand I give him credit for the research time that must go into it. On the other hand he is just wrong so often. And can be wrong in big way.

That's why, I come here. Everyone knows the answers

Culpepper's knee is not his problem.

He suffers from lack of gray matter between his ears -

He can't make timely decisons and reads - which will never be fixed by rehabbing his knee.

This problem is compounded because he always used to be to run around and thru people when he got in trouble, whichis no longer an option.

Cam Cameron may disagree with you about Cleo Lemon- he developed him in San Diego and may have more confidence in him than the other slugs on the roster.

if cleveland lets Quinn go by, then they need to seriously reconsider having a franchise

I don't think they're giving up on Charlie Frye just quite yet.

You have to put the CLE QBs in some context since their rebirth for the 1999 season. In those 8 seasons, that unlucky club suffered through more than 100 players on I.R. Including top draft choices, a boatload of OLs, DBs etc.

Who knows how he'll do in the pros, but OSU QB Troy Smith is from that area and has done a bit of lobbying.

Okoye as the Bills Number One Draft Choice? I'm buying! That would be the pick that would improve the team more than any other pick available to us, and I think he would be a solid anchor and leader for the defensive line for many years.

Right up until he starts to enter his physical prime, at which point he leaves for greener pastures in free agency.

If the scenario plays out as posted, I'd hope we could find a way to move up a spot or two and grab Branch, and if not, select either Dwayne Jarrett or a linebacker at #12. I wouldn't rule out a trade-down, either.

We trade down...Okoye is too young in my opinion...might be a great player but 19 in the NFL doesnt work..ie Clarrett. Our best bet to get the most out of this draft is to trade down into the mid 20s and take and ILB and gain another 2nd or 3rd round choice. This is the only way the Bills will get the most bang for their buck. I wouldnt be shocked if we hung around and took Branch though.
