CNN is now reporting she is being charged with attempted first degree murder

http://www.cnn.com/

Wow. I'm not so sure that she should have been released on 15K if charged with that.

I'm gonna guess this is gonna end one of two ways. She gets the woman who had the gall to try to hook up with the single man later today, or she heads down suicide row.

I smell a made for TV movie.

I guess the moral of the story might be -if someone is looking for you

wearing a wig, a trench coat, and has an air cartridge BB gun and pepper spray....they don't want to just talk to you.

Please, you're leaving out the rubber hose!

It's so weird - I saw her picture in the paper when she was in space last year, and thought she was cute, so I looked her up, read her bio, etc. on nasa's site........I thought wow - she really has it going on. From the beginning - top schools, etc. Married with three kids.......This is pretty stunning

Nowak, who has been an astronaut since 1996, flew her first shuttle mission last July, serving as a mission specialist aboard the Discovery.

I wasn't aware you could call yourself an astronaut before you've actually been to space. Astronaut-in-training, maybe...Am I right?

Can I call myself an astronaut, if that's the case?

I believe, going back to the Mercury 7, that once you finish astronaut training (whatever that is nowadays) and enter the flight pool, you're an astronaut. For example, John Glenn was entitled to call himself an astronaut when Adam Shephard went up, I believe.

You are officially an astronaut before you go to space. They have graduating classes. In order to fly in space, you must have been graduated as an astronaut...

Alan Shepard was an astronaut.

Adam Shepard played Batman in the old TV Series.
