2 things that have led to the resurgent Bills

Obviously, the first would have to be the OLine shakeup after the bye week, but the other???

I think we all need to send XMas cards to the Houston Texan's organization for deciding to pass the ball on 3rd and 2. Nevermind the fact that they were running all over us that game with some guy named Lundy, but enabling us to stop the clock (with that incomplete pass) and subsequently produce a game winning drive, has changed this team's confidence level - starting with the guy who produced the drive - JP Losman.

Boy...something happened in that game, for sure. Maybe its the payoff for all the hard work leading up to it. I'm sure the O-line shakeup was major. And Losman really came into his own. Not sure HOW it happened, but I'm sure enjoying the fact that it did. Whether or not we get to the playoffs, this is a good football team and I'm looking forward to next year.

I said it right after the game, and i'll say it again.

A last second win like that for the team that we had at that point is something that can turn a franchise around.

Everyone in New Orleans needs to send Christmas Cards to the Texans too. Did anyone watch the freak of nature - Reggie Bush last night? How in the HELL do you pass on this kid for your team? Are they smoking crack in Houston?

Mario Williams went to high school here in Richlands. He's a big deal around here obviously but even the locals can admit that you don't pass up a Reggie Bush in the draft. :(

or Vince Young. The Texans had big question mark at RB and QB and still chose a pass rusher and are paying the price for it.

A good point to recall. :(

Especially since their punter, Stanley, seems an amazing hang-time specialist...at least in that game. But not long yardage. His kick hung for 4.9 seconds, but only traveled 36 yards.

At 2.11, they ran Gado for 7 yards on 2nd down, bringing up the 3rd and 2 and the 2:00 warning. Their quick incompletion ran the clock only down to 1:57. Had they run on 3rd - and they were running well that game - they could have knocked a bunch off of the clock. How dumb. :P

Parrish fair caught on the BUF 45, with a useful 1:44 left...

Didn't the Bills have a Timeout left at that point, which meant if the Texans had run the ball, they still could have stopped the clock?

Since the Bills scored with 19 seconds left, I don't think the lack of a Timeout would have hurt them.

And while we're at it, 4th and 1 against the Pats way back when.  What if we would've kicked?

What if the Texans ran the ball on 3rd and 2 when no-names like Lundy and Gado were having 6 ypc games ?

Well how about the Jets ckickening out yesterday on 4th and inches from the Bills 38 when it was still a one-score game.

Yeah that was the dumbest call of all times. While we were ready for their quick call, why did Chad walk away to the sideline with 20 seconds left on the playcock? To the bare minimum they should have at least tried to draw us offsides!

I was looking for a trick play direct snap to the running back. I think they were waiting for us to stand off a think the play was over because Chad was walking away, but we didn't.

I don't know...NFL.com's Gamebook showed a spike to stop the clock at 0:15.

The Price score was clocked at 0:13.

Another point to make... I wonder what our red zone TD% is after the Houston game vs before the game. When the Bills used to get into the red zone, scoring a TD was rare (overachieving almost), now, I expect them to score a TD whenever they get down there! Talk about change of mindsets, even down to the fans!
