I was saying the same thing to my wife this morning while watching the news and his "press conference". I think he's demented enough and learned enough about the case/details that he's taken on the personality of the killer.

Either that or John and Patsy still were involved somehow, since John has stated he doesn't know this guy, but articles I've read today say that he did.

Considering the bumbling incompetance of the Boulder Police force in missing lots of good forensic evidence by chasing after their own preconceived and flawed theories and their refusal for years afterwards to look into the case properly it is somewhat of a miracle that someone has been arrested.

Given the forensic evidence at the scene (including DNA) once someone with something resembling the ability expected of a murder detective actually investigated the case it would be inevitable that the criminals behind this awful murder would be tracked down and caught. I would imagine that the arrest would be based upon the DNA evidence at the scene and pretty conclusive.

As for the Ramsays? Well they were fairly odd but given their backgrounds it would not be THAT unexpected that they would have their daughter enter those pageants, but murderers? No credible evidence has EVER has linked them to the crime, just press (and Boulder police) innuendo.

Ah, yes. The press. Those esteemed gentlemen who have continually and deliberately misrepresented the facts in this case in order to make $ whilst hiding there abyssmal conduct behind the 1st amendment.

I would go out and have to double check the sky was blue if any journo involved in this case stated such.

Even IF this guy didn't kill JonBenet Ramsey, he's still a sicko. These people can not be "fixed" with therapy and/or medication. They're perverts and sociopaths who can only be healed by being eliminated. Of all the crimes a human being can commit, there are none more unforgivable than child molestation. It forever ruins a human being's life to fulfill a moment of one individual's sickness. Public hanging would be nice for this animal.

Did this guy molest children? or is this what the media is reporting?

I prefer letting the justice system run it's course and if it goes to trial the jury will decide his fate...Most child predators do not fare well in prison, even if they are in PC there is always another PC inmate that hates this type of criminal and just might take this guy off the planet free of charge.....The media influences the general public and potential jurors in all criminal cases..

Whilst I agree with the sentiment (death is too good for murderers, rapists (which includes many paedophiles) and drug dealers, IMO) I think the way the entire investigation was handled in this particular case only strengthens my opinion against the death penalty.

Public sentiment towards the Ramseys for a good too many years?

I never thought that the Ramseys were guilty. They had no history of this kind of thing. I thoght they were WEIRD parading their young daughter around like a show pony, but never thought them capable of murdering their own child. This guy, OTOH, reeks of guilt. And like I said, even though he may NOT have killed Jon Benet, there is an almost insurmountable body of evidence pointing to his activities as a pedophile and a sick f*ck. That's all I need to know. That's an unforgivable crime because it forever traumatizes its victim, it's a crime that never ends. To think of all the young children this perverts has likely exploited in Bangkok makes me want to retch.

Not a lot I can really disagree with here, in all honesty. Was just pointing out the 'no smoke' argument has certainly been used before and in relation to the Ramseys.

He's living in Bangkok. Bangkok is THE center for child sex exploitation. He has a prior arrest for Child Pornography. Need I say more? Where there's smoke, there's fire. Hang him high.

I understand your perception and point.....Do we know exactly what the child pornagraphy charge was for exactly? I'm not a lawyer, but in newengland there have been arrest of people viewing childpornography on a computer that the criminal created himself with images of children in a jc penny sales flier in swimsuits in suggestive poses.. There is smoke, I prefer to know exactly where the smoke is emmanating from....In malden mass back in the 80's when there was a hightened awareness about daycare centers and molesters, the ameriault (sp?)family running the malden daycare got caught up in the storm and were imprisoned, grandmother, daughter, son...Grammy and the daughter were released years later. I believe the son is still behind bars...They were released due to a legal fight proving that the prosecutor child psycologist coached and implanted false memories in the childrens minds to strenghten the case and convict the family....I'm just looking at the angles in the case that might be there but not reported for the public to make a balanced judgement in this case..He could be guilty and deserve to be torn apart starting at his crotch!!!!!

I'm having my doubts about this loser.

Linky

But Karr's ex-wife, Lara Karr, told KGO-TV in California that she was with her former husband in Alabama at the time of JonBenet's killing and she does not believe he was involved in the homicide.

***

And Lara Karr said her ex-husband spent a lot of time studying the cases of Ramsey and Polly Klaas, who was abducted from her Petaluma, Calif., home and slain in 1993.

Could he have gleamed enough information from study of the case to convince police that he was the killer?

Plain Truths:

1) The arrest was there. No prosecutor is going to bring charges if there's no case.

2) he's living in the epicenter of the child sex trade.

Why is this so hard for some of you to comprehend? do you think it's merely a sad coincidence that this sick bastard has been both arrested for kiddie porn and is now living where child sex is virtually legal?

again, even IF he didn't kill the Ramsey girl, the odds are high that he has been involved with other kids. Just because they're asian and not blonde-haired blue-eyed little all-american girls doesn't make them any less worthy of the protection of the law.

I know very little to condem this man...I'm looking at POSSIBLE angles, nothing more nothing less.... The haditha case in iraq is just another case prosecuted in the public square without all the facts KNOWN. I believe in letting the justice system continue until a an educated jury is ready to judge...Again I'm no lawyer I just have an opinion as you do.
