Tom Golisano was asked if he was interested in owning the Bills someday. He said while he was not thnking about it, since he considers himself part of the Buffalo community, he would be very interested in "finding out" what is going on, and be involved in the process of keeping the Bills in WNY. If they leave, it would be in 3-5 years. Carucci says he's not sue what the state could do to help the Bills enough to be viable. A new stadium is brought up. The problem isn't the stadium, the problem is that Buffalo's an economically depressed backwater. Building a domed stadium won't fix that - it might make it worse, if they have to find new tax revenue to fund the new stadium, and make the market less viable than more. The best plan is probably to let the Bills move. Professional football is a luxury WNY can't afford...like art museums, or a symphony orchestra, or libraries... I was just trying to say that IF they were to take the plunge and build a new stadium, a domed one would have to be the way to go. And making it more family-friendly would also have to be the plan. I dare say more people in WNY benefit from the Bills than those other things. Beer at an art museum, symphony, or in the library doesn't go over too well. This is the first negative I have heard about Golisano...do you care to expound? Or are you just being negative, because it is hard not to? I am sure that anyone with as much money as Golisano has made some enemies along the way...doesn't always mean he is in the wrong. When I lived in New York, and again when I was visiting New Orleans years later, I was told by two different people, in two different sports settings (a sports bar, and a sports apparrell shop) "I have never met anyone who is a Bills fan before" (in New York!!!), and "I almost forgot that Buffalo had an NFL team" (in New Orleans!!!!!!!!)
