Break it down any way you want... Mine: Front Office- 30% (Hired MM, drafted too many stiffs) Coaching Staff-20% (Playcalling smokes pole) JP-10% (Not ready yet) Offense-20% (Offensive Line really offensive) Defense -20% (Defense couldn't stop the run) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Remember at the start of the season, this defense prided in itself to be the best defense in the entire history of NFL....They were wrong by 29 spots.....For that kind of miscalculation, this defense should take the entire blame.... 1billsfan Posted January 3, 2006 Share Posted January 3, 2006 TD 50% - Created the atmosphere of him being the real man in charge leading to two unsuccesfull head coaching regimes in a row (no one respected either GW or MM because of his ever present shadow). Not finding enough quality players for the trenches. MM 50% - This team underperformed plain and simple. We have at least .500 talent compared to other NFL teams. And very few passes to the rb's and te's - maybe they wouldn't get a lot of yards, but there was value to be gained by making he opposing defense consider the possibility. Front Office: 30% (this includes many personnel issues...i.e. Losman not ready) Play Calling: 30% (blows was a fitting description) O-Line: 10% (better than usual) Defense: 20% (ridiculus that they were this bad!!)
