So there will probably be more taxation due to that. So the Dems voting for the repeal actually voted for more taxes being paid down the road. That's a good thing right?? Right now only the "rich" suffer under the estate tax laws. Under the new law even the poorest of people with pay a higher tax when selling an inherited asset due to the lost step up in basis. If you people ever took the time to look at stuff objectively, for what it's worth and got off you mantra - you might actually start to understand how things are.
