This offense is coached by him but not necessarily his fault when he succeeds or fails.  I'm reminded of a pitch to I believe Ty where Keon completely disengaged from a block.  Is that Brady's fault or is it Coleman, because there was a first down there to be had?  You could make the claim that Coleman should not be depended upon but as an NFL player you need to be able to make that play.  Also consider the other side of the ball gets paid to make that play as well.  Should Brady call that play?  Maybe or maybe not.  Could also be that our defense doesn't defend it well in practice and it looks like the play works well.  Should we throw it deep?  Maybe but a quick play deep gives the ball back to the other team fast and I think a ball control offense has proven to be a better option.  I think the game plan is fairly sound usually but sometimes it needs to be modified based on how the other team attacks us.  What you saw Sunday was adjustments but also you saw the line start winning.

He has been inconsistent this entire season, hasn’t developed a steady downfield passing game, doesn’t know how to scheme open his WRs. And he can be way too predictable sometimes.

But at the same time the Bills scored 28 unanswered points against the top team in the AFC. James Cook is a legitimate super star. And Allen statistically is having another MVP worthy season. The offense itself seems much more physical than previous seasons where it was more of a finesse offense under Daboll & Dorsey.

What do you think ? Obviously we need an entire season to really evaluate everything, but where do you stand at the moment?

He’s trash and relies on one of the best Qb’s who’s ever played the game to save his ass week in and week out. Throwing screens on 3rd and 15 is complete stupidity when the game is on the line. This playbook seems limited as well as his play calling, he lacked creativity and just hopes our guys can line up and do the job better than the other team can do the job of stopping them. We can do much better than this and quite frankly in the playoffs, we will need to.

Here I'll help, he still sucks and we can do better! He certainly didn't win the game for us, the players did in spite of his bad play calling & poor feel for the game, which has been consistent throughout the year, especially in the first half of almost every game. He has a very mediocre uncreative pedestrian offense that's pretty predictable with basically a handful of the same plays every week. There's nothing he's doing creatively with the run game, he's just lucky enough to have very good running backs on the team, especially Cook.

If I would’ve read this before my post, I would’ve just like this and moved on. This is spot on analysis.

I think you called it correctly on Palmer.  He was better with the Chargers.  Has he had more than a couple big plays all year?  The catch up the sideline against Baltimore late.  And the deep catch against Atlanta.  He has probably missed close to half the games too.  How does his contract look for next year?  Can we cut his ass without much of a salary cap hit?

We should have had a play designed there for Shakir 8-10 yards up the field.

Why is a buffalo a place receivers come to die? This is Brady and somewhat McDermotts fault. Every receiver that comes here should do better than what they previously did, and that certainly does not happen, and it isn’t a one off case either

The best QB in the league.

Top 5 OL

Top 5 RB Room

Top 5 TE Room

Bottom 5 WR Room

How should one judge an OC who has that.  It’s such a drastic drop off from the, when healthy, talent he has at his disposal in the run game and out of heavy personnel to the limitations brought down on the entire offense due to lack of WR separation and the inability of anyone reliable to stay on the field for consecutive games in a row outside Shakir.

Theres never been a more “mixed bag” an OC has been given.  Brady, and a lot of it due to Kromer, have an elite running game and are now showing off the talent in the TE room.  But that only gets you so far when you can’t rely on anyone to win quickly downfield.   And while Brady does some decent things, he also does some mind numbingly dreadful things and this offense only

really takes off when Josh Allen decides he’s going to become dual threat/buy time/throw lasers JA.  …which lucky for us, he can pretty much do whenever he wants.
