Kind of surprised to realized he's only a year younger than Allen.  Are Mahomes and Jackson also around the same age?

burrow in 2020.

with burrow having a late bday he likely was a grade behind josh in HS

josh did 4 yrs, 3 at Wyoming, burrow redshirted and transferred to LSU for final 2 yrs from Ohio st.

lamar bday is next month turning 29. He due 3 at Louisville before Turing pro.  He graduated from HS the same yr as burrow but didn’t redshirt and didn’t do 4 yrs.

The Bengals only path to victory with that roster is with a top 5 QB. It shouldn’t be a shock to anyone, least of all Burrow, that they only won 1 game without him. Their predominant cap investment relies on QB performance first and foremost.

I've said this before, the Bengals are built to win fantasy football championships, not NFL championships.   They're all about big time passing game with the running game as an afterthought and defense non-existent.

Mike Brown has been here before.

Burrow can want whatever he wants but he will never get traded.

However, Zach Taylor better start packing his bags. They'll try to appease Burrow with a new HC

At least not in his prime.  Brown finally traded Carson Palmer after 8 seasons with Cincy which included, IIRC, at least one hold out.

He attached himself to Parcells for a few years then got the Patriots job where he had amazing success as a coach when Tom Brady played quarterback.  All I'm saying is I think Belichick coached the Pats for 24 seasons and Brady was QB for 19 of them.  I believe all 19 of those seasons were winning records.  There were 5 seasons he coached without Brady and 4 of those years were losing records.  You can draw whatever conclusion you want and I'm fine with that.  I'll just say it again...in my opinion Brady>Belichick by a ton.

Comparing QBs and HCs is like comparing apples and oranges.

FTR, Parcells was 0-3 in playoff games without Belichick as his DC.   Parcells was 11-5, including both his Super Bowl victories, with Belichick as his DC.

Are you talking about the George Seifert who coached 3 years in Carolina with a 16-32 record?  Not saying he's not a great coach, not saying Belichick isn't a great coach (although he is embarrassing himself currently with his life choices) just saying that coaches typically don't take average and make it great.

Still having fun!  Oh yeah and Brady>Belichick by a ton.

`

How far above average was Brady when he was drafted?  How about when Belichick called him off the bench?

And why don't you respond the the facts surrounding Brady's performance the first 2 SB wins?  Was "Brady>Belichick by a ton" back then too?

early career Brady was a game manager on a team with strong D and running  game. In that period they were a top 10 rushing team

this is also true.  credit to BB for creating a team that thrived despite Brady's fairly limited output back then.

Brady was MVP.  So yes.  All I'm saying is that Belichick had almost all his success with Brady as his QB.  Brady managed to win another SB without Belichick.  Oh wait... is this the part where you start telling me how great a coach Bruce Arians was?😁   This is fun!

So Lamar is the baby of the group, and on the other end you have Grandpa Mahomes
