I'm pretty sure Tibstain, or one of his previous incarnations, is the very first person I added to my ignore list. He earned a spot there well over a decade ago before my threshold bar for the list was lowered substantially with the dawn of the orange menace.

I think you're right about the conversation. Because in the grand game of life nothing anyone here says is going to materially change anything. PPP is just a place to share views and opinions and then agree or disagree about them. Everyone has their own unique perspective and experiences. Some take it seriously, others not so much. And I believe that if everyone agrees on everything then nobody is thinking. 

 

Same with the stadium wall. Over there we've got lots of expert GM's and coaches that know what needs to be done to fix problems, draft player and sign free agents. Sometimes including me! A lot of them might be right but nobody is putting them in charge.

excuse me for butting in. This was a very thoughtful post and I appreciated it. The football side has Much more productive conversations. No moderation in PPP creates a shitshow that the regulars are willing to put up with

 

The conversations , and I use that term loosely, are Nothing like it you were to be in person.  Even half of that civility would  be welcome here. But instead if you pose a different view out come the negative memes and lebels. 

 

I think teef is willing to have a civil online conversation.  I read that he gives back  the same energy he receives. I do think engaging in this place brave. Even with the exodus Fox's board this place mostly leans way right. and frankly there are a lot of #######s here
