Lmao if you had stated specific teams I’d be able get behind it but “anyone”. Really? Buffalo, if they beat Buffalo again in Gillette there is 0 chance that Vegas puts the odds on them to win.  Pitt took 5 TO for them squeak a win out… Indy who plays in a dome coming to cold and maybe snowy Gillette?  And as people here like to say have beaten no one Denver - who have they beaten? And their O is sporadic at best.. but awesome D.  Ravens - possibly but depends how they look too isn’t like they been world beaters this year. And they may miss the playoffs .Chargers - please west coast team coming to east coast have historically done bad esp in the playoffs..

My point is there is no dominant or scary playoff team this year in the AFC.. any team  can beat any other team.. IMO the scariest team for my Pats be the Texans because that D could shut down the O completely and Maye be hit like a piñyata.

I’m not even sure I’d include Buffalo in teams that realistically would be alive in the second round at this point lol this isn’t a bills fan hating on the pats thing at all I’d be sayin it about absolutely any team in the pats position…I really don’t expect the bills to lose the rematch in Gillette though regardless no disrespect intended.  I don’t think the pats are a bad team overall by any means don’t get me wrong but they are significantly less talented than your average 1 seed/home team for the divisional round and I don’t think that’s even debatable.    If the pats don’t get the bye and end up the 2 teams will probably cheekily tank some games to get NE instead of Baltimore in the first round if Baltimore ends up the 4

If they get like kc or Baltimore in the divisional they will absolutely be a home dog unless they go like thermonuclear on the ravens in the regular season game..  probably will be a home dog to Buffalo if the bills win it comfortably in Gillette but that’s still a big if obviously.  I’d be interested to see the line for the regular season game in a couple weeks I think the pats would be a home dog right now tbh.  Denver I think is probably a favorite but if they’re the 2 it won’t be them anyway.  Indy definitely depends on how they finish…right now I think they’re a pretty heavy favorite in a hypothetical matchup.

denver beat kc who’s schedule was crazy front loaded and the eagles as well…people get way too hung up on teams records at the time they beat them. Kc is gonna finish with 10 or 11 wins even.   The pats are in a weird spot because they want the public perception that the bills are cooked/not that good but they also want to argue the bills are a quality win…you can’t really have both of those.  That meme the pats beat more above .500 teams than the other afc contenders kinda gave me a chuckle cuz I think Carolina/tampa probably finish under leaving the pats with just Buffalo with a shot at Baltimore

we have seen this a fair bit recently tbh idk why pats fans talk like this stuff doesn’t happen.  Everyone and their mother knew the Vikings were gonna get smoked last year.   that was one of the easiest money sports bets I’ve ever made 😂

Years and years of unmet expectations will do that to people.

And obviously it is only because our coach and GM suck, right, and nothing else?

Over the last 9 years, there has been only one team other than New England and Kansas City to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. Call it what you want, but having been in the same conference with two dynasty teams that the NFL completely fauns all over, does make a difference. I'm just not sure how you guys dismiss that like it's nothing. And for God's sake, the last three times we played KC in the playoffs, we basically lost to them by a combined 6 points (OT, missed FG, 3-point loss with a ton of bad calls by the refs---the NFL definitely has it's favorites, and you can't convince me otherwise at this point). Heck, K.C. probably shouldn't have even been in the position they were (or even in the playoffs) if the refs didn't help them all of last season. How many one-score games did they win where people complained about the officiating/a bad call that gave them the game. Had the refs called a fair game in the AFC Championship last year, we would have been in the Super Bowl last season. How would that affect everyone's opinions this year. You do realize that we should have been in the Super Bowl last year (save for the refs, and the NFL wanting to make sure all of the Swifties were watching the SB). Would we still be wanting to fire everyone if we had made it to the dance last year (win or lose, but not blown out)? Would we still be saying McD and/or Beane can never and will never get to a Super Bowl or win a championship, guaranteed, no questions asked?

First, I don’t expect them be the first seed especially with the entire left side of the O line out injured.  Be honest this year if I was to bet who was winning the SB I’d bet the Rams.. the AFC any of like 8 teams could be the rep in the SB. My pats, your. Ills but god anyone but KC again please!

The common thread is… the AFC all pees down their leg when they faced NE and now KC in the playoffs.. and that is 1 main thing COACHING! They over think and do dumb things…
