For whatever reason it is a home/road issue. Bills are 5-1 at home and 2-3 on the road with the only two wins being over Justin Fields and Andy Dalton. They convert 50% of third downs at home, 36.4% on the road. Bills score a touchdown on 72% (4th) of red zone trips at home and 46% (t-25th) on the road. They average 32.5 ppg at home and 23.2 on the road. I could go on.

So this will likely be a tougher game than it should and the Bengals game will be a shootout but has a very good chance of going our way.

Winning on the road is one of the first indicators of a contender. The Bills struggles on the road are a result of their fall back to the pack in terms of talent. Mistakes and lack of attention to detail creep in. This version of the Bills may get into the playoffs, but they’ll be cannon fodder for the home team.

While I agree we lack in talent in many areas, I think it is mostly a coaching issue this year. Our defense is actually giving up fewer points on the road than at home, but they don’t seem prepared to make stops early in the game. Often they clamp down on the second half (falcons, Texans) but at that point our offense is playing catch up which has been very bad for us.

on the offense, we are actually a much better running team on the road than at home. Cook is averaging 5.7 yards per carry (that is excluding the Panthers game which if included jumps the average to 6.9 per game). But we are panicking to catch up and not running enough on the road. Against teams like the Falcons and Texans, if we leaned harder into the run game, I think we would have won those games.

If we had better players, we could out talent our way through the poor coaching. But this year, we have enough if the team is prepared and executes but this has been the worst coaching regular season I can remember. I’m not sure it’s changing after 13 weeks, but if they get things together we won’t be an easy out even with our weaknesses. But after 12 weeks of this, I agree your prediction is most likely

The Bills did get a couple extra days to prepare...But they are going to be dealing with a massive disadvantage with these personnel changes all over the roster, and especially on the offensive line on the road... It's an awful lot to ask tbh... I'm less than confident. But we do have the Josh/Cook factor that can change anything if either gets hot... B-)

they can overcome the injuries on offense if Brady trots out a semblance of a game plan  Abandoning the run and expecting Josh to drop back with the same simple concepts and create plays on his own is not a game plan.  Brady's had all week to install a rb screen game run draws quick slants curls to slow down the Steelers pass rush  Their back end is crap but you got to keep Josh upright  On defense maybe they actually practiced tackling this week
