Even at the time, I felt that would come back to torment.

 

Prater was perfect otherwise but that was a key miss.  Could have just went for the game tying field goal on the last drive down 3 instead of 4.

Actually he broke the return by bouncing off one of his blockers engaged with one of the Texans cover guys and spinning into free space with only the kicker to beat.

- The 4th down run call was a killer 

- The interception into triple coverage, with Cook open under the coverage was a killer 

- Not adjusting the play development time to help offset the pressure was a killer

- Getting zero pressure from your DEs was a killer

 

There are many more "killers."  An extra point miss is far down on the list.

I mean, if Davis doesn’t score there, Texans may also not get their TD before the half either.  Time would have come off the clock during our possession.  We essentially traded TDs and they washed each other out.
