Defense is a lost cause because McDermott will micromanage whoever is DC and no competent DC will want to work with that. It will be an internal hire only

Study up on the WCO. It's a timing offense and it's kinda what we want Josh to do now and many will tell you that's not letting Josh be Josh.

I would also be open to BB and Josh McDaniels combo - not sure McDaniels leaves NE for anyone but BB at this point, if he would even do that given the upstart Pats and young stud QB.  

 

If nothing else, it would be very entertaining to watch Belichick and Vrabel coaching against each other in the AFC East.

Whatever happened to the Bears under Matt Eberflus, I don't think you can blame Waldron.

 

The Bears were 4-5 when he was fired and went 1-7 the rest of the way.

 

In the case of both of these coaches, I think you have to look beyond any perceived blemishes and drill down to find their true value.

I respected his actions in the Damar Hamlin game when he agreed to call the game with his team leading, 7-3.

 

There's no good reason not to like Taylor that I can think of.

I hate seeing this thread title. Wish it would get merged. Any part of McBeane not taking the fall, FINALLY for a season we should’ve been the 1 seed I want no part of. But hey they got Brandin Cooks!

If the Bills are hiring a new Head Coach to maximise Josh I think it is possible. It isn't what I'd do to be clear, but I don't think it is impossible.

On Brady, he was fired after less than two years as the Colts OC. Then the Chargers offense the last two years is hardly a passing juggernaut. 

 

As for Waldron.... I mean I think you can blame him for the offense. He really struggled to design a scheme for a QB who didn't want to play entirely from the pocket. And he had weapons. As I said I thought they should have interviewed him when they hired Joe as their permanent guy. But he wouldn't be on my interview list now if we had a vacancy.
