I think an honest question can be made if the Bills are burning a prime season.  Obviously, if he gets hot in the Playoffs and they win it all who cares. Im under the train of thought that an elite run game paired with Allen is the key for success in the playoffs.  My concern is does Josh feel that way.  He is chasing explosive passes out of shotgun.  The offense is best right now under center.  The spread game-plan to attack the outside coverage  of Miami didnt work.  I think they tried to attack them the wrong way.  Stick with run looks and packages and attack out of those.  My confusion is the repeated moving away from the run game Atl and Miami.  Both games felt like they wanted to prove they are something they are not.  Is it Allen, Brady or Mcdermott or a combination of all three.    

Problem is, just like in the ATL game (after opening series) they come out and run the ball and get nothing. Fine it happens from time to time. We are not winning in passing situations, the further we gotta go down field the harder it is to pick up. When the run game fails early it leads to 3 and outs. The run game failed us early in the game against Miami, ATL and NE. 
 

We have to be able to do be able to pass in passing situations. If we can’t we’ll continue to struggle. If we could make some of those long 3rd downs it would help them continue to try to establish the run when it’s not working. Right now it is just taking them off the field

I was at the game yesterday.  There was noone really open up the field except on the pass to Kincaid before halftime that he dropped and injured his hamstring.  And the TD pass to Hawes.  And then on the ridiculous scramble by Josh when he crisscrossed the field and found Samuel at the 50 wide open.  But as far as running a normal NFL passing game, where the ball needs to be out in 2-3 seconds, there is noone open in the intermediate areas.  That we have the worst group of WR's in the league should get Beane fired.  I would also argue that without Shaq Thompson playing we easily have a bottom 5 group of LB's as well.  And maybe bottom 3.

 

Sure the coaching isn't spectacular.  But the roster is pretty bad with several units.  That Jordan Poyer is starting for us, and playing almost every snap is pretty bad at this point in his career.  He can not keep up with guys 10 years younger than him.  Hancock and Bishop need to be our starting safety's.  

 

You need a talented roster to have a chance at Championships in any sport.  Ours is not good enough sending out a WR group of Shakir Shavers Coleman Moore and Samuel.  It very well could be not good enough to even make the playoffs.

Hate to say it, but we ain't seen nothing yet. If Walker, Bosa or Groot go down , forget about the WR roles.  My biggest beef is pussing out on the trade deadline.

One more Dline injury and it's gonna make having Davis, Palmer, Shakir and Coleman be the least of our problems.

Considering for 60 years the quarterbacks get the glory they get the criticism 

 

Josh is the leader of this team he is the one who gets them up for games

 

 and they certainly did care more about the Chiefs than they did about the dolphins.. I don't care what anybody says their play shows that 

 

This team has a history of playing down for a half or even three quarters to inferior opponents... 

 

If you read what I say and you take that as Josh as the problem I don't know what to tell.. but the focus the entire week of game planning does all start with the quarterback 

 

 when Josh is locked in the entire team is locked in.. this board has been calling Josh the dolphin's Daddy for years 

 

I don't think the bills and Josh Allen woke up for the dolphins as much as the Chiefs 

 

That's what happens in a 17 game schedule
