PFF has been in love with what the Bills have been doing since the off-season. They really loved all the defensive acquisitions and draft picks and then they thought that running it back on offense was smart but adding in Hawes to take Anderson's place added a nice wrinkle to the offense and Palmer over Cooper was a smart value add. I don't particularly care for PFF but it is interesting to see how they like the Bills roster.

I love they want an 05 formation. But we don't have Quentin Morris anymore, or the punter tight end. Maybe bring them back for a game so we can do that for funsies?

I need to sit and watch the video, but I often think one of the issues for Brady and the offense is how to best allocate his resources.

When I look at the offense I see 5 slots to allocate on every play.  Josh and the line are givens, but then Brady has to allocate from there.

His best playmakers are Cook, Kincaid and Shakir in that order.

His best blockers are Hawes, Gilliam and Knox

The best of the rest are Palmer, Johnson, Moore, Coleman, Davis, Samuel and then Shavers.

So how do you allocate each play? Do you go heavy to promote the run, do you go 5 wide?  How do get Kincaid, Cook and Shakir on the field at the same time?  It’s almost an impossible puzzle.

I understand why it may be hard for DCs to match up with the Bills, but Brady often has a hard time allocating his resources to maximize success.

That was an excellent watch.  I'll preface this by saying I have never played football and don't have a grasp on football Xs and Os.  What happened to the Bills' offense against the Pats*** and Falcons?  I've read the multiple threads saying it was mostly Allen making bad decisions or throws and not taking what the defense was giving him.  Is that the case?

Against the Pats, the run game wasn't working very well and Josh started forcing the ball instead of taking what they gave him. Keon turned it over deep in our end that they quickly turned into points.  That was a game of lose the turnover battle, lose the game. Even still, we only lost by 3.

The Atlanta game, the Falcons were blitzing and neither Josh nor Brady seemed to understand what the defense was trying to do to them. As bad as it looked, they were still only down 1 score in the 4th quarter despite the defense playing one of the worst first halves of football I've seen in awhile. Then, inexplicably, the Bills didn't have Cook on the field for nearly the entire 4th quarter, Josh was forcing throws again, and it was a predictable loss.
