Rasul Douglas, who we let walk and will be facing on Sunday is ranked 8th of 107. Not saying he’s great, but PFF has a longtime rep of underscoring heavy zone DBs because of separation measures. They infamously had Tre rated fairly low in 2019, when he was a first team all pro (entirely deserved, btw). 1 2 Quote

We have half our defense on the IR and there's nothing available; we are looking at out training camp bodies? The justification for bringing in guys who were here during training camp and the preseason is that they know the system and can be trusted to know their assignments and arguably can contribute more easily than players who don't know the system. 7 hours ago, Goin Breakdown said: At this point I don't want to hear anything. If the dude can't even sniff the field, I don't think he's going to help anyways. Waste of a pic up to this point. Eyerolls and Xs- Tell me what makes you confident about him being in the field and contributing. I'd love to hear it. To those bagging on Landon Jackson, just remember the same treatment was given to Cole Bishop. Have some patience. 7 hours ago, In Summary said: There are solutions... We need to keep getting this offense more multidimensional. Imagine a Sproles or McCaffrey. Ty Johnson hasn’t been the player i thought he would be going into the season. In Allen's own words - "Ty Johnson is the best 3rd down back in the NFL". If we don't know how to use our weapons then adding yet another player is not going to help you. Quote

Not bagging on him as much as I'm saying if the coaches haven't seen fit to put him on the field, then why should I think that he's all of a sudden going to make a difference. And then also if coaches aren't going to play him, then so far it's a waste of a pic. Bishop has seen way more time on the field than Jackson. Even at this point last year Bishop was playing more snaps than Jackson has so far. But like I was discussing with another poster, Jackson is buried on the depth chart. However he could have beat someone out if he was truly a difference maker. Quote
