Kevin Massare: The Man who has covered over a decade writing and podcasting for the Buffalo Bills recently was on The Pivot Podcast hosted by Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark where he was speaking about how Josh Allen reads the defense. Here are some big takes from the podcast and how this could be affecting him this season:

1. Allen uses pre-snap information like the position of safeties and linebackers to get an initial idea of the defensive scheme, such as whether it's man-to-man or zone coverage

2. Josh follows a progression of targets, starting with his primary read and moving to secondary and tertiary options. If the defense takes away his initial read, he looks for the next available opening

3. He often uses a "high-to-low" approach, starting his read from the deepest part of the field and working his way toward the line of scrimmage to confirm the coverage and find the best matchup

4. Allen is adept at taking the "free profit" that the defense provides, such as checking down to a running back in the flat for a gain

How this helps him adjust to pressure and game situations:

- Josh has shown a high degree of resilience under defensive pressure, making critical plays and adjusting his reads to avoid sacks or turnovers (however not the case against the Pats and Falcons). Allen had 2 turnovers against the Pats (1 fumble, 1 int) and 2 int's against the Falcons...

- His ability to quickly assess the defense and make adjustments, such as changing protection or checking to a different play, is crucial to the offense's success (we HAVE seen him call a fair amount of audibles) I know I heard a lot of Mangia Mangia Mangia!!!! in the game against the Pats

- Josh has a known tendency to target specific receivers against certain coverages. I've specifically seen him throw to Shakir in tight coverage or in low passes to the slot.

What do you guys think about this?

What do you guys think about this?

I think the following:

Between the repeated copyright infringements (which could create problems for the site's owner), the use of falsehoods to make your posts seem more legitimate (it makes them less legitimate) and your frequent reliance on AI to create posts (you're a teenager, aren't you?), that you should take an extended break from starting new threads until you are ready to actually create your own ideas and content.

Here's a few pieces of advice to a young guy from a not so young guy:

#1- No matter how smart you may be, old people are still smarter than you and can see right through you no matter how slick you think you are.

#2- Passing off other people's work as your own does not make you smarter, nor does it make you "seem" smarter. It has the opposite effect.

#3- While at first you may not enjoy it or even be good at it, taking the time to create your own thoughtful, original work will eventually earn you the kind of credibility and respect that relying on AI will never, ever give you.

#4- When an oldhead is this direct with you, he is not trying to hurt you, he is genuinely trying to help you, so pay attention to your wiser elders.
