If the league is fixed as some seem to believe, why would you bother watching? This game was much better than last week with officiating but how in the world does the first play get called Offside when it is not an obvious call? Still don't understand it. The tackle on Palmer was not a true hip-drop but certainly looked dangerous as he was dragging Palmer's legs into an odd position. The league seems to figure out when to call penalties on us at the worst possible time and sometimes we can overcome it but not last night with our receiver corp decimated Quote
BillytheKid Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago The Bills have their own problems right now but thought this was interesting anyways According to a study Chiefs receive 45% more roughing the passer penalties and 32% more defensive holding penalties going their way than any other team in the league from 2023-25. At least that is what this video tells me. Quote

At least that is what this video tells me. Mahomes is working the refs from the first quarter. He gets right in their faces. Their WRs also flop if they feel a tug. Getting calls is part of their gameplan. We ought to do some of that. BTW, Vrabel was working the refs during their game with the Bills. That's how they got that OPI call that changed the game. These are games that successful teams play to get an advantage. Quote
ChrisWatson#21 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The league will never give up their ability to steer outcomes through officiating. Their priority isn’t fair games it’s maximizing profits. Some teams/storylines bring more to the table than others everyone that has watched the NFL for a while knows this by now. It’s not just Buffalo look at Rodgers and Brees who only got two SB appearances while playing out of the weak NFC. Look at Cam’s Panthers or Rivers/Tomlinson’s chargers. The evidence is everywhere.
