When the vp states that organizations of left leaning political views will be investigated, does that affect anyone here. Could you lose a job over expressing your concerns? Gee none of this mattered prior to now. All those conservative groups targeted by Obama's IRS. Those conservative groups targeted by Biden's FBI. Suddenly liberals are having 'CONCERN' over these things. Welcome to the club. 1

Do you agree with people being fired for actively cheering Charlie's murder?

I know the point here is that you'd never openly celebrate anyone's murder in any forum, but if you did it here among twelve internet strangers nothing is going to happen. Or you could go on your Facebook page and do it and face the likely consequences.

Which side would have more unemployed people? Point out where I laughed at Paul Pelosi. Nobody said you did. Don Jr. did, or at least indicated that he found the assault funny. The thread isn't about you. It's about him.

Nearly everyone has said things that are objectionable. The Kirk stuff might be the most objectionable. Or it might not be. It's certainly the most recent, and it's certainly pervasive. But I wonder if we're going to establish a thought police and speech police how many people are going to get swept up in it. Look if you want to say terrible things about the murder of Charlie Kirk, that's fine. Don't complain when you have to deal with the consequences. Is this a fair statement?

Like I said if he can be fired from his place of employment for his radical takes. Then fire him. If he can't then stfu.

I'm on a board of a school where a teacher did lose her job last week for a social media post cheering Kirk's murder. I didn't need to offer an opinion, there are several clauses in their contract and the school handbook about social media posts and how social media reflects on the school. We got a lot of blowback from the public from both right and left.
Wacka Posted September 16 Posted September 16 The incident at Polosi's house was the opener for the 2AM Naked Hammer Fight Club.

So your point appears to be that getting hit in the head in a brutal attack with a hammer is funny because the victim didn't die, but premeditated murder is not funny and horrid comments about that incident therefore merit firing? 3 minutes ago, JFKjr said: I'm okay with Donald Sr. firing him. And, if so, should be more affirmative and direct about Don Jr.? Edited September 16 by SectionC3

No I never said it was funny but did Charlie invite the guy on to the roof top to shoot him, and the rest of the story with Pelosi was never told there were accusations but no one followed up because there may have been more dirt to be found but that's the way it usually goes with Pelosi .

Not the issue. Why are Kirk comments cancelable, but Don Jr.'s comments about Pelosi not?
