Applying JD's logic with respect to the Kirk murder to the Pelosi assault, the answer obviously is yes.  What say you?

I say you should email somebody or start a petition.

That was a super strange incident! (which should not be cheered by anyone) I don't care if Pelosi personally knew him, picked him up, or whatever the real story was. Maybe Pelosi was already injured when the police arrived. (not sure how he was able to open the door though) Odd that the Pelosi's don't have a security alarm. Also that he had a cocktail glass in his hand while this was going on. Crazy stuff.

The guy was clearly violent and had an animus against Pelosi.

Same with Kirk.  We're cancelling people about that.  But why not Pelosi?  Is it because he didn't die?  Or is it because his viewpoint doesn't align with yours?

Sure, let's cancel him.

Now that's the bar has been ridiculously lowered we can now cancel 80% of the leftists infesting federal bureaucracy.

Win, win!

So they all supported or joked about a violent felony assault perpetrated against the husband of the former Speaker of the House?

Steve Scalise didn't die either.

If we include assaults that don't end in death that will be a lot of canceling that needs to be done. It sounds like a full-time job, you're welcome to have at it if you wish.

I personally don't have the energy/interest to cancel anyone.

Me neither.  I don't care what the private sector does on its own volition.  I'm troubled by the federal government bullying/pushing the private sector to act a certain way, though.  It's reverse wokism, if you will.

People cheering murder don't belong in positions of power.

OK.  So what about people cheering the assault of Paul Pelosi?

It is not the same because he did not die?  Or because you share the viewpoints of Don Jr., and disagree with those of Paul Pelosi?

Care to point out the difference between assault and murder?

Which one is worse.

Life is a matter of degree.  So what I take from this is not fatal = funny, but fatal = right wing wokism?

How bout we fire everyone who said bad things about either.

How many would we be tallying up for both sides?

Which side would have more unemployed people?

Point out where I laughed at Paul Pelosi.

I'm okay with anyone cheering the attack on Paul Pelosi or Steve Scalise (or the Trump assassination attempt) losing their jobs if their employer decides to fire them.

I don't think violence should be celebrated.

Including BLM violence, right-wing violence, antifa violence and anti-abortion violence.

I'd like to know how the left would go about canceling someone like Don Jr. anyway?

As if they already haven't tried to deplatform and debank him and the rest of the Trump clan.

He's independently wealthy and is already universally despised by the left

What else can be done to cancel him?

Shoot him?

They'd never do that!

Is anyone concerned about government investigation into your opinions..ie on this site or others, and potential punishment or increased surveillance.

When the vp states that organizations of left leaning political views will be investigated, does that affect anyone here.

Could you lose a job over expressing your concerns?

Bill if I cheer someone's murder, you can get me fired personally. Deal?

That goes to anyone on this board honestly.
