Vikings vs Steelers in Dublin - Any UK/Irish TBDers going & where to watch the Bills game after?

Hi all,

My friend got 2 tickets for the Vikings v Steelers game in Dublin.  I really don't like missing Bills games on TV so needed a bit of convincing to go!

Just wondering if any board members are going and also does anybody know of any Bills backers bars in Dublin that might be showing our game agains the Saints?

Thanks.

Agreed Mr WEO, but I only live an hour from Dublin, so I'm very familiar with the place. I do treasure my 1pm Sunday kickoffs (6pm for me) and we don't have too many this year.

But hopefully I'll get to watch it with a pint of Guinness somewhere after the Steelers game. Albeit i might miss the first quarter.

Born and bred in Northern Ireland. 25 minutes outside Belfast.

Lived in the same town for my 46 years apart from a few years in Edinburgh (University, or College in US speak 🙂)

How is it? A much better place to live in now compared with the 70s to mid late 90s, during the sectarian conflicts.  The weather sucks though! We don't have the harsh winters like in Buffalo but we rarely get any prolonged good dry sunny weather. Even a short hop across the pond to southern England seems to be much better weather wise.

Thank you! I've got a buddy who lives in Belfast who seems to have gone dark on social media after he got married, and he seems to miss his home of Plymouth in southern England so you may have something there! Only been on a puddle jumper with a brief stop in Shannon, Ireland, so never really been to Ireland proper which sucks. I want to visit also because some of my family comes from Cavan, and I have always wanted to see what it was like there.

one shouldn't need any convincing at all to travel to Dublin...

I certainly wouldn’t. I’m on record as not loving the international games, but I’d have been there if the Bills played the Steelers in Dublin. That would be a lovely silver lining!

I would love to see Notre Dame play the Browns in Dublin!
