I don't see Cook being resigned.  It would take Cook to significantly backpeddle on his $15 M post.

Yeah, especially given how early his grumbling started.  Hes going to be disgruntled for a 12month year (that were aware of) AND he has an unrealistic salary expectation.

Im 90/10 Cook is done here after this season.  Especially if RayDay stays on his current trend, especially especially if he moves above that trend, which wouldnt shock me.  This OL is nasty.  Hopefully it always will be with "Beach Chairs".  Kromer should be first in line with an extension IMO

I'm shocked that Dawson Knox will be the 3rd highest paid player on the team next year and nothing was done with his contract.  He also carries the 5th highest TE contract number in the NFL.  This seems to be such an easy no brainer way to clear up cap space with either an extension or pay cut.

I love Knox, but I'm surprised that they didn't approach him about taking a pay cut. At least that we know of.

I don't see the Bills outright cutting him though.

You don't see a lot of players under 30 taking a pay cut

Restructuring your contract is different than a pay cut.. could they restructure it and open up some stuff? Sure

Would Knox take a cut? No because he's the most complete tight end on the team and it doesn't make sense for him

Converting salary to bonus would be a different story

That makes a lot of sense. I still doubt that Knox will be cut next year, as others here have suggested.

Didnt we extend McGovern right after year 1? Or am i imagining that? Need to get that one done. O'Cyrus too. David Edwards felt like a solid enough guy, but should be fairly easy to upgrade via the draft and get cheaper.

No, we just restructured him last year.
