After winning 7 of their last 8 games, they have gotten to within 2.5 games back of the Blue Jays. After they play 3 games against the Astros, they will then play the Blue Jays this coming weekend. The Yankees need to start playing well against good teams. This week (Astros, Blue Jays) will be a real good test.

Good win last night at Houston. Only 2.5 back of the Jays with them coming to NY this weekend. I love this time of year. Football is starting with another Bills season to watch. The MLB pennant races are exciting to watch, and the NHL season will be starting soon. Let's Go Bills and Let's Go Yankees.

Williams was brutal, but he got jobbed on a few inning changing pitches. Chisholm 9th inning at-bat looked like ump payback after Boone berated ump and got tossed. One Ump track website had it at 15 missed calls, another 21.

While the Bills had the big win over the weekend the Yankees also had a good weekend taking 2 of 3 from the Blue Jays. Only 2 games back of first place with a tough series starting tonight vs the Tigers. Let's Go Yankees.

Tigers have been kind of meh lately.  Is Skubal pitching in any of the games?  He makes a difference for sure.

Morgan released a statement on Tuesday, saying Orlando will simply be used as a "bargaining chip" for a new Rays owner to secure a stadium deal in Tampa.

 

"I am out. The fix is in," Morgan said in the statement. "I believe what will happen now is this group will seek a sweetheart deal in Tampa, while stringing the prospects of Orlando as a bargaining chip. They will get lots of free land and entitlements and make a real estate profit on the surrounding land at the tax payers' expense. Certainly not for the people, but for the rich people."

 

Morgan was a lead investor in the group, alongside Heartland Dental founder Rick Workman, who credited Morgan and him earlier this year as "committed to delivering transformative benefits to Orange County and Central Florida with this initiative."

Bullpen is killing them, 3rd worse e.r.a. since the trade deadline.

So last night the Yanks are up 10-1 in the 4th inning. Held on for the win 10-8. Bullpen is terrible. They will probably make the playoffs but #28 is not happening this year.

Just 2 back of the Jays but only 6 games left. I doubt they can win the division, but they should clinch a playoff spot soon.

Nice comeback win last night to clinch a playoff spot. Division is still in play being only 1 game back with 5 to play. Although the Jays do have the tiebreaker, so I guess really 2 back. Anyway, playoff baseball in the Bronx. Let's Go Yankees.

Yanks win again and the Jays lose. Tied record wise but the Jays have the tiebreaker. Just need to make up one game in these last 4 and they are the AL East Champs. Let's Go Yankees!

What a week for Yankees/Bills fans and haters of all things Boston.  First, we've got another hopefully classic matchup w/ the Red Sox in the playoffs, and then Bills/Pats on Sunday night.

 

If the NY teams lose both, I will feel bad.  However, the opposite of that would feel very good.
