B-Man Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Oh no, not again Minnesota’s feckless Democratic Gov. Tim Walz formally announced today that he’s running for a third term. The Hill newspaper is out with a story that begins with a Walz quote, I’ve always tried to do what’s right for Minnesota. And I’ll never stop fighting to protect us from the chaos, corruption, and cruelty coming out of Washington. “Corruption”? The biggest feature of Walz’ tenure is the $1 billion of fraud verified committed against state government welfare programs. I suppose he could go for $2 billion in another term. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2025/09/oh-no-not-again.php

In this guys case, why not let the voters make that decision? Edit - Forhan seems even-keeled and fun. In his twitter bio he uses the word “Nazi” and also alerts the world to his preferred pronouns. Vote for Elliot! Nope. He's gotta go. That's my opinion. It's bad for any political party to run somebody like that now. It's representative of something greater than a job in the private sector. 1 1

B-Man Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago U.S. Senate Candidate in Nebraska Claims to be an Independent But is Being Bankrolled by Prominent Democrats by Mike LaChance Dan Osborn is a candidate for U.S. Senate in the state of Nebraska and he claims to be an independent, yet he is being funded by donations from major Democrats in various parts of the country and is using the far left portal Act Blue. It looks as though the left is trying to put one over on the American people by disguising a candidate as something that he isn’t and hiding the truth. It’s an incredibly dishonest and cynical move. Of course, the liberal media is playing right along. Almost every report describes Osborn as an independent. {snip} Back in March, Bernie Sanders recommended this exact strategy. He told progressive candidates that they should run as independents. https://web.archive.org/web/20250320154042/https://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/20/us/politics/bernie-sanders-democrats-independents.html https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/10/u-s-senate-candidate-nebraska-claims-be-independent/ ALSO Internal polls affiliated with Dan Osborn are classified as a Internal Democrat Polls in our system, even though Dan Osborn is running as an independent. This classification stems primarily from his campaign’s reliance on mechanisms and strategies associated with the Democratic Party. For instance, he uses ActBlue for fundraising and has engaged with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. In this solid red state, the otherwise dormant Democratic Party has nearly unanimously supported his challenge to Republican dominance. https://elections2024.thehill.com/nebraska/nebraska-senate-fischer-osborn/
