Oh, they'll try, but 2026 looks a lot better for the GOP after tonight. In 2009 the GOP immediately opposed Obama spending and called to slash government spending in light of the financial crisis. An actual counter, and plan to the victors in 2008. 2 years later - red wave. In 2025 - these Democrats have absolutely nothing. Nothing but Trump bad. It is truly astonishing. B-Man Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Activist who helped Trump turn Pennsylvania red says neighboring blue state now firmly 'in play' for GOP by Madison Colombo President Donald Trump made gains in several swing states during the last presidential election. Now, one deep-blue state in the Northeast may be shifting into the "purple" category, "Hear me loudly and clearly: New Jersey is in play," Early Vote Action founder Scott Presler told "The Ingraham Angle" Monday. Presler, a conservative activist working to register Republican voters, says the latest election results have energized conservatives in New Jersey. He believes the GOP has a real chance to make inroads in the traditionally Democratic state. His grassroots organization, Early Vote Action, focuses on registering new Republican voters. The group's website tagline reads, "Electing Republicans by registering Republicans" https://www.foxnews.com/media/activist-helped-trump-turn-pennsylvania-red-says-neighboring-blue-state-now-firmly-play-gop

B-Man Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Oh Pete. "Mr. Buttigieg’s decision to skip the 2026 race to succeed Senator Gary Peters, a retiring Democrat, allows him to pivot more easily to the next contest for the White House...." "Mr. Buttigieg determined he could not run for both the Senate and the White House, according to one of the people familiar with his planning..... Mr. Buttigieg, who ran for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, was seen as the most prominent potential contender in next year’s marquee Senate contest.... But he also would have been vulnerable to 'carpetbagger' attacks, and was plainly aware of that risk. Term limits will preclude Gov. Gretchen Whitmer from running for a third time next year, and Mr. Buttigieg is not expected to pursue that office...." B-Man Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Seems like a good deal all around. Tuberville running for Governor of Alabama in 2026 by Grayson Everett U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) is running for Governor of Alabama in 2026, according to reports confirmed by Yellowhammer News. Back in state while Congress is in recess, Tuberville told a group of donors at a private event on Wednesday night that his mind is officially made up. Rather than seeking re-election to the U.S. Senate, he is ready to run his next race in Alabama, and serve the people of the state in Montgomery instead of Washington. An official campaign announcement is imminent in the coming weeks, but latest reports offer insight into a finalized decision by Tuberville https://yellowhammernews.com/tuberville-hegseth-back-return-of-service-members-discharged-for-refusing-covid-vaccine/ 1
B-Man Posted Monday at 03:47 PM Posted Monday at 03:47 PM Breaking: Rep. Gerry Connolly Announces He's Stepping Back From Leadership Due to Health Issues By Susie Moore Some rather surprising news out of Washington. D.C., Monday morning, as Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) announced that he will not be seeking reelection in 2026. More significantly in the near term, he will be stepping back from leadership and stepping down as the ranking member of the Oversight Committee. Unfortunately, the reason for Connolly's announcement is that his cancer has returned. Prayers for him and his loved ones. 1
