B-Man Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 More Winning. A HUGE Win for Free Speech: Rubio Shuts Down Controversial State Department Office by Sarah Anderson Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on Wednesday that he's going above and beyond to continue protecting the free speech of every citizen in the United States — something that State Department wasn't doing previously. As a matter of fact, the State Department’s Counter Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (R/FIMI) had "actively silenced and censored the voices of Americans they were supposed to be serving" — particularly conservatives — and we were paying at least $50 million per year for it to do so. But Rubio has now shut it down, placing 30 full-time staff members on leave, eliminating all 50 full-time staff positions https://pjmedia.com/sarah-anderson/2025/04/16/a-win-for-free-speech-rubio-shuts-down-controversial-state-dept-office-n4938970
B-Man Posted April 23 Author Posted April 23 Rubio Remaking the State Department David Strom The New York Times pretended to have a scoop, outlining the major changes coming to the State Department under Marco Rubio. The only problem with the story? It was entirely fake. Well, not entirely. Rubio IS shaking up the State Department; it's just that in every other respect, the Times got it wrong. You and I may think that is a big deal, but then again we knew the Hunter Biden laptop was real, the Steele Dossier was fake, and The New York Times is as professional as a kindergartener who needs a snack and a nap. https://hotair.com/david-strom/2025/04/22/rubio-tearing-down-and-rebuilding-state-department-n3802019 1

B-Man Posted May 1 Author Posted May 1 This is NUTS: Secretary Rubio just announced that he found DOZENS of files kept by Joe Biden's State Department that classified American citizens as "vectors of disinformation" — with the intention of censoring them. That's not all. Marco Rubio says that there's someone in President Trump's cabinet meeting RIGHT NOW that was being monitored. "There's at least one person at THIS TABLE TODAY who had a dossier in that building..." Joe Biden's administration was corrupt ALL THE WAY THROUGH!
K D Posted May 20 Posted May 20 Little Marco Rubio might be the nominee for President in 2028. He's been playing nice with Trump but is he really maga now or is he uniparty?

B-Man Posted May 27 Author Posted May 27 The Rubio Update of the Monroe Doctrine: What an America First foreign policy in Latin America looks like. By ILYA SHAPIRO With Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s appointment as national security adviser, and President Donald Trump’s recent comments about Rubio’s chances to be his successor, the secretary of state has the unique chance to draft a foreign policy where “America First” means leading in our own hemisphere. That is, the second Trump administration should marry nationalist priorities with regional leadership. Call it the “Rubio Doctrine,” a 21st-century updating of James Monroe’s famous warning to Old World powers to stay out of our backyard. An America First agenda can now be strengthened by renewed engagement with our near neighbors. Latin America is a sleeping economic giant that aligns perfectly with U.S. “friend-shoring” goals. Rather than relying on factories an ocean away, we can shift supply chains from Asia to the Americas. This isn’t wishful thinking; companies are already eyeing Latin America as global firms seek to decouple from China. The Western Hemisphere boasts resources and capacities the U.S. vitally needs. https://ilyashapiro.substack.com/p/the-rubio-update-of-the-monroe-doctrine? Is there any Trump candidate who has overperformed expectations more than Marco Rubio?
B-Man Posted Friday at 05:11 PM Author Posted Friday at 05:11 PM Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the US will begin revoking the visas of Chinese students Associated Press News, by Annie Ma & Collin Blinkley Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Wednesday the U.S. will begin revoking the visas of some Chinese students, including those studying in “critical fields.” China is the second-largest country of origin for international students in the United States, behind only India. In the 2023-2024 school year, more than 270,000 international students were from China, making up roughly a quarter of all foreign students in the United States. “Under President Trump’s leadership, the U.S. State Department will work with the Department of Homeland Security to aggressively revoke visas for Chinese students, including those with connections to the Chinese Communist Party or studying in critical fields,” Rubio wrote. https://apnews.com/article/international-students-visas-trump-guidance-social-media-a1f5180ce83560aff66dd65534906697?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=share .
