A duhr hurr "I think like an hour or two" was his answer. Then when asked about if there were survivors, he said, "I dunno fog of war" something something. Even a Dairy Queen manager would have checked the video by now, and gave better details. The truth is he knows, and he's afraid to screw the story up, which they've already done. If the survivor story is true, then that's IMMEDIATE grounds for dismissal, just for the omission of the detail alone. Not even gonna touch the legality part of it right now. 1

Like has already been brought up, the guys in the boats are villagers, probably some were even impressed into service. If Pete killed these guys for just hanging onto flotsam, then he's FAR more morally bankrupt than them. trump and his cult seem to be passing on this notion that somehow these villagers will be able to force the cartels hand into stopping shipments. I can hardly believe that could ever happen. They would then just impress them into service. Heck, they'd probably rather just threaten their families than give them $5k anyways. I'm sure with millions of them coming back home, the job market's probably not too hot either. Sometimes I wish I had the tiny maga brain, because life would be so much easier.
