shining Josh probably won't stop that...

It won't stop the regular season stats Mahomes is piling up but if Josh and the Bills can knock the Chiefs out of the playoffs it can help preserve Brady's SB appearance and wins record.

true, but kind words from Brady won’t get the bills past the chiefs…

You could be right but I think Josh respects Brady enough to listen to him. If Brady tells him to stay the course and play smart, maybe Josh will listen.

If I were QB and the guy with the SB record was telling me I'm playing smarter, I think I would consider that maybe that's the way to keep playing. Who knows.

F*** Mahomes and the Chiefs and Go Bills!

everyone and his brother has been telling Josh this for 2 seasons.

he plays the way he plays.

I didn't once hear him compare Josh to Mahomes.  That in and of itself was noteworthy.  Every other broadcaster always has to say "there's only one other guy that can do that" or some similarly stupid *****.  I don't think he likes Mahomes very much (and it's obvious why -- he figured he'd hold on to the GOAT label a little longer than this).   I'm fine with that.

Not sure about the bolded part. During last week’s commentary he said Mahomes was the only opposing qb he ever felt compelled to go meet after the game. Literally walked over to the opposing locker room and knocked.

Brady respects Mahomes’ game and might even be threatened about being surpassed. Brady is not like that with Allen. I always sensed that he thinks Allen as a kid brother that has immense talent but lacks discipline. His comments about Allen being a grade school spaz sometimes is indicative of that feeling.

I commented in the game thread how Brady loves Allen and the Bills.  He was genuinely more excited today talking about Josh and the O than i’ve heard him in any other game. He knows Allen off the field, golf, etc and i’m sure he hopes Josh gets to raise a Lombardi someday

Brady introduced himself to Josh's dad at a golf event last year and the first thing he said was "I love your son"

I should probably correct before the Sharks jumping in. The word check down may not be the right word since it carries a negative notion. More of the QB decision to make throws to an open receiver that may get you a first down. If I'm not mistaken, in the last drive Allen played, Brady prasied Allen for a throw of 8 yards on 3rd and 10, pretty much said it is the only guy who was open and gave him a chance to make the first down. Don't take unnecessary hits.

The term check down isn't really a dirty word. It only has a negative connotation to Bills fans because of Trent Edwards and the nickname "Captain Check Down" 😆

dude really has no life outside of football anymore. his ex wife is knocked up by some dude she's dating and shared that.

tom's response was posting a sunset and Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" lyrics.

i almost wonder if the dude doesn't have mental health issues at this point. this maybe the one time i'm being genuine about this cheating *****... outside of football i don't know what else this guy has left to cherish on with his immeasurable competitive edge and hyper focused spirit. i'd imagine his life is quite empty.

How in God's name would you have ANY clue about Tom Brady's private life?  Or whether he has "mental health issues"?

Brady loves Allen, not us lol. It was pretty evident at the roast that this fanbase lives rent free in his head...prob from all the billdos thrown at him.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from a guy who knows a kid who's going with the girl who saw him alone and crying at Baskin Robbins. I think it's serious.

Come on, you are playing right into his hands.....he knows how much Bills fans have hated him for the last two decades, and he is trying to get on Bills fans good side.

You can't go from throwing "Billdo's" at him and calling him Marcia to praising him for a few positive comments.....

Thanks for the positive comments TB12, but you can still go f**k yourself.😛

I don't know, I kind of feel like when a hated rival retires or switches divisions or conferences, I let that go. Especially if it's a player who's talent I respect. It's like "cool, I don't have to hate you anymore". I remember being borderline a fan of him for switching out of the AFC East and into the NFC. Now that he's gone, I think it's pretty cool the relationship he has with Josh and am all here for him pumping up BillsMafia. I think he has sort of the same thing going where he's like "i'm not in the same division with them anymore and now I can appreciate BillsMafia".
