Zona Posted March 26 Share Posted March 26 I agree with the thoughts about the Netflix show, Surviving Death. I was moved by the story about the cardinals. Also, my mother told me of her 'near' death experience after she died during childbirth for about 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Her experience was in 1970. I was told in 1978 when I was 13. Those two books did more to form my faith than any CCD class I had to sit through! For that reason I’ve read countless similar books since, some of which are in the room where I sit right now. I still remember a bunch of stuff from Mr Rust’s class including the word adamant (or, “a damn ant” if you use the memory tricks). The Spinal Surgeon who was without oxygen for 30 minutes and had fixed eyes then making a full recovery was incredible. She didn't feel any panic and was feeling comfort while dying... Tim Askey was a cool French teacher, too. He’d bring his two GIANT Newfoundlands in his van out to a park in Clarence where we were doing kegs and other high school kid things on weekends.
