Everything is back to the way it was in Minneapolis.  Move on.

                - Roundy

😂

Serious question Roundy, do you ever tire of taking massive L's here?

The story appears to be about why the lots are vacant, and explains that zoning and financing new builds are the reason why. Seems pretty simple to me.

No, I do not equate the attempt to end the peaceful transition of power to Biden with protests of police brutality. If you do, more power to you. Don’t forget to change your drool bib.

Let’s look at root cause for a moment - why are those lots vacant to begin with?

Also does the zoning part of it have any relation to Minneapolis being under the control of democrats for decades on end? What has your guy, Coach Tim, done to rectify this?

They were damaged during the protests, for which I’m sure the owners had insurance for.

As for your second “point,” Minnesota Dems are currently working on a bill for zoning reform that makes it easier to build:

In 2022, Walz signed a bill ending single-family zoning in the state

NIMBYism is bipartisan. It must be defeated across the political spectrum.

They had insurance! All good! The blood, sweat, and tears any of these people put into their livelihood is of no concern. No harm, no foul says the young progressive living in a bubble!

A Minneapolis black entrepreneur, also presumably a US citizen, has his sports bar that wasn't properly insured burned down by lawless rioting savages..

RoundyMao:

Why didn't he have insurance? Sucks for him.

Also RoundyMao:

Let anyone who wishes to walk through our southern border do so and then remain here as long as they wish.  And we get to pay for their health insurance and murder ICE agents doing their job following the law to send them home.

Sound messaging RoundyMao.  More please!

Also notice that RoundyMao ignored the other article about business owners who DID have insurance but got wiped out regardless because the insurance companies wouldn't pay demolition costs.

Actually business insurance will not cover them if they were already shut down due to the government telling them they had to shut down.

Why wasn’t it insured?

You are truly one stupid person. Who the f do you think pays in the end for that insurance.

I'm guessing not you  - "someone else's money"

No, everyone was made whole, no one cares! Including those Minneapolis business owners who were fortunate enough to come through the riots unscathed. Their premiums didn't go up at all I'm sure.

Sounds like your problem is with the insurance company.

See above.

If someone torches one of your houses because they are upset over social injustice, it’s all good because you have insurance. Right? 🤦🏻🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♂️

They didn’t, so your point is moot.

It’s been five years. Get over it.

Hypothetically speaking - it would be ok, right? You do have insurance on your houses, correct?

I know that you don’t get this, but when you say something stupid and awful like “they were all insured so it’s fine” and then you are immediately proven wrong, it would be better to either own the stupidity or not respond at all. The route you continually choose requires you to say increasingly ridiculous things and makes you look like a dipsh*t.

Roundy spends a considerable amount of time in this thread in order to keep telling us how nobody cares about it. Weird.

This guy should just get over it already.

I'm certain this woman was set at ease immediately after being told about insurance.

Smell those burning tires and relish the moment.
